we all know he is a one of the great lakers as well as a scout for the new york knicks....
out of assumption, can it be that he is scouting a player for the knicks during this game or was he just enjoying a good friday nite.
will the knicks enter the kobe sweepstakes?
or
looking for ronald flip murray
either way, i dont see a knicks having much of a chance...

another question, if you were the knicks, whos contract will u try to release to the bobcats: anderson, penny, h20

with the constan knee pains i really start to question h20's contract, not that i never did, but this would be the last call to do something about it. just looking at the carreers of shooters like steve smith, how great they were till the peak and injuries caught up them... im sure allan houston will be effective for a couple more years, however my question is how will these knee problems effect him in production and limited games...

Along with KT, I don't think Anderson will survive the summer.

how do the lakers come into play there? the next four or five teams are not the lakers.

Probably for the same reason any team scouts the Lakers.

NY Knicks Player Salaries

03-04 04-05 05-06 06-07 07-08
Anderson, Shandon $6,700,000 $7,300,000 $7,900,000 $8,500,000

Hardaway, Anfernee $13,500,000 $14,625,000 $15,750,000

Houston, Allan $15,937,500 $17,531,250 $19,125,000 $20,718,750

i believe penny can be more productive than anderson, but double andersons overpayed salary???

but pennys contract may come in handy for an expiring contract, the same way atlanta obtained wallace from portland.....

an for houston, i hope this knee injury doesnt affect his career like the injuries of sharp shooters smith and glen rice, while we have to determine this by this summer, because this will be our last bail out....

im sure the knicks will try to unload one of the 3, but they have to also reconsider if the bobcats will definatly take the players offered, even if they are available, we are all sure they will they houston...

im not taking any position to ship any player out, just expressing the pros and cons in my opinions of each player...

Ed Tapscott is the new President of the Bobcats-maybe the rights to Weis for a future first rounder????? Seriously though, there is no reason for the Bibcats to take any of them. While I am sure they would like to have H20 I would doubt that they would want his contract even if we had the ability to add a draft pick. I dont think the knick can throw enough money at them under the rules to offset their picking any of the guys mentioned.

actually the bobcats can take 1 player in the league that isnt protected by the team (8 players per team)and also break the contract, im not sure what salary they would be getting though, but i think h20 would be the best available player for the bobcats, but im not sure would they break the contracts to keep players like anderson and penny because they can only do it to keep one player...
who else is an underachiever in this league that makes a lot? another guy i think is wally szcerbiack because hassell and spree seem to fill his role... also hudson plays the 2 sometimes too
