With Milwaukee's loss the pick sent to HOuston isn't a lottery pick. Go Woody.

In retrospect, it was probably a bad trade since I don't think we needed to dump Jeffries' contract to make the moves we ended up making. But, at the time, noone could've known that.

Still is a very deep draft and even though in retrospect it looks bad, I still remember it looking bad at the time and most of us were sort of confused about it as well.

I think what the Nets did trumped anything Isiah did(well maybe) Isiah threw picks out there thinking wed be better. The Nets were lottery bound and traded their lottery pick for G Wallace????????? Why not wait at a minimum and see who is out there when the value is there--maybe a Pau Gasol or something like that???

Yea that's pretty bad, Wallace is an injury machine, and attracts no one to Brooklyn, especially Deron Williams.

The Gerald Wallace trade is pretty bad, but the Nets traded one protected lottery pick for a pretty good player; Isiah traded two unprotected lottery picks for Eddy Curry.

We indirectly helped Portland out also. One of those picks became LaMarcus Aldridge.

Just glad Tyrus Thomas never panned out. Bulls could have taken Aldridge.

Could you imagine if you replaced Boozer with Aldridge how much better that team would be? Plus, they'd have a bunch of extra cap space from not signing Boozer. Overall, a really terrible pick by Chicago.

At the time we were still targeting LeDouche.

Nets are screwed too with Houston falling out of a playoff spot the Nets don't get their pick and may not even have a 1st round pick unless they win the lottery or top 3.

Sounds like Houston tanked and screwed the Nets. Nets pick was prob better than knicks

I doubt they would tank this late in the season; they're not going to get a good pick, unless they're extremely lucky, and they piss off the fanbase by choking away a playoff appearance.

I still find that Nets trade hard to believe! And the funny thing is that Wallace has been injured for most of their games since the trade so the Nets couldn't show Deron they were a better a team, but in addition he was healthy enough for a few games, that led to wins, that in turn increased their chances that their pick will be out of the top 3. Lose, lose. I don't get it- if they wanted him they could have just signed him as a FA in the offseason- why just give away a top pick in a deep draft?!?!

If it was to prove something to D-williams, wouldn't it of been better to say hey, we've got a top pick in this years deep draft, and we'll sign Gerald Wallace too, if you want (though he's on the decline, so why he'd be a deal breaker I have no idea)
