Whats with you and the rest everyone approach. Im not trying to be mean or anything Its just that we are fighting just to get into the playoffs. I mean its not like we have clinched first place or even a playoffs spot
Your not being mean you are being a fan which we are. One day rest for an athlete does wonders for their bodies. I know that there is a very highly unlike chance that Knicks beat the Celtic especially when the Celtic just beat the Bobcats with all their backups and Rondo. That means the Knicks are facing a well rested Celtics team. I don't know why you guys want subject Chandler who when healthy is the Anchor of the team and Shumpert our other best defensive players who has a sprained ankle. Why do want them to furture aggravate their injuries on a game with very slim chance for the Knicks to win. The Knicks will have a better chance on a back to back giving rest to Chandler and Shumpert. I know the Knicks haven't clinched anything but playing a healthy Celtics team will still register as a loss. If they play and play hard and lose to the Celtics they set themselves up to lose another game to the Nets only because they did nothing to rest their injuries.
The Knicks are more dangerous when healthy that is the reason for resting the players. Playoffs aren't going anywhere Knicks will make it. Beating Celtics and losing to the Nets has the same effect in the standings. I want to make sure that the Knicks at least get out of the back to back with one victory, and that one victory will most likely be vs Nets. Chances of beating Nets increase with the rest Chandler and Shumpert get. Do you not realize that Shumpert will be playing on a bum ankle vs some of the best pgs.
