OK, lets get this over with quick and relatively painlessly.

Portland, they outclass us at every position. Pippen playing the point vs Jax, Derek Anderson vs Houston, Bonzi vs an appathetic Spree, Rasheed vs Thomas, Dale Davis vs Spencer or Travis. No wonder 80% of us have picked the Blazers to win. My guess is that with our foul happy front line we will be in the penalty about 5 minutes into the first quarter and it will just go down hill from there. I hate to say it, but I think we are in for another very long night of Knicks basketball.

Yeah, everyone should take a step back, breathe deep and change their GamePicker spread to Lose By > 15.

I'm in it for the points.

... and I'm almost tired already of that Van Gundy, face-hiding look of a coach for our top banner. Knicks, help us get rid of it!

Sprewell says it best about the start of the season for us. Many teams go through slumps, but lucky for us ours comes with 75 games remaining in the season. That should be enough time to correct the problem. Finally something fairly positive and coming out of Spree. Thats a great sign. I think he needs to have around 30 tonight as a confidence booster. You can never lose faith in our team.

Does Rasheed Wallace have Allan Houston Syndrome?
Where is his heart? Why is he so bad this year? Let him get all the T's he wants, as long as he dominates!

Good first half so far, we're up by 8 but I have a feeling the Blazers will make a run. Pippen has been hurting us.

We should run Latrell at the point on offense, Shandon at the point on defense (covering pippen), and let the rest of the guys do what they are doing, but sit mark jax.

Finally, Spoon got moved to the starting lineup and Felton got the boot! And Eisley got some time too. This is what I have been waiting for.
We suck.

Phewey, I might have lost points with the gamepicker but I'm glad we won. Maybe now some serious attempts at trading Ward for whatever will be made as JVG isn't going to play all three now is he?

What about Isaac Austin from Memphis? His game is ugly but he's way better then Felton and furthermore he's in the last year of his contract.

Ike Austin to NY is a good deal, but they should throw in a 2nd rounder... (which will be close to a 1st rounder).

I didn't get to see all of the game (only the first half).... Any reaction to the play of starter Weatherspoon, Anderson and Eisley (these guys have become my favorite players)?

Spoon had a nice dunk. Who knew a 6'2" (sarcasm) PF could dunk!?

I was gald to see the team finally play well and some of the players step up. Weatherspoon did excellent in the starting line and Eisley made a great first impression. Spree looked like to gained by some intensity and even though he didn't shoot well, he played a nice all-around game. Thomas was consistant and Houston was inconsistant, but it was nice to see him come through down the stretch. If we play like this every night, we will do just fine even with Camby.
