Next 5 games all against the teams right above and below us.
Toronto
Washington
Boston
Philly
Bucks
We win the next 4 and playoffs are pretty much a lock. Can't wate for the TT vs. Van Horn game. Should be great.

I don't think beating Raptors w/out Rose and Alvin Williams and Boston, Philly and Washtington is too much to ask. We should be able to do that.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Three out of the 5 should give us lil trouble. TORONTO AND BOSTON should be easy games. Washington will give us problems and Philly won't have AI shooting 2-19. And the bucks game will be like a playoff game.

That sounds about right. They could win all five if Houston gets his shot back...

yeah, for some reason washington has been playing well as of late. i think philly at philly will be tough if iverson picks it up. he will remember last night. toronto should be easy but we will see. do not underestimate boston either. pierce loves torching the knicks in any shape and form. the difference is having tim thomas guard as oppose to sprewell but he still is one of the most dangerous scorers in the league. but the knicks need to have their swagger back. iverson did not have a good game but our leading scorer for most of the year, houston, had a worse game. he should have his rhythm back in the next couple of games then we will have an arsenal of weapons. marbury must have the mentality he had the last game and refuse to let his team lose. that is what stars are supposed to do.

Why is everyone saying Toronto will be easy? Yes the Raps have lost a bunch in a row, but Vince has made his return from injury and if he plays well it will be a tough game.

Sorry guys, but I think we suck too much right now to think any of this games gonna be easy.

I could be wrong, chemistry could be back (I'd be glad to be wrong ).

My point is we're still very fragile. Stronger than we looked like on the road trip, but weaker than what we were before the break. Hopefully, that'll change prety soon.

Go knicks !

I agree....one win does not make all of our previous reasons for losing go away. No game is going to be a cakewalk.

There are reasons road records in the NBA are hard to make good.

3-2 after a bad losing streak would be great. Hey, this team is not out of the woods.

Friday's game at Toronto is probably gonna be the biggest one so far this season. It could give us some cushion or put us behind them. Very important to win. We'll definitely go at least 3-2. I truly think we can go 4-1 in the next 5....even 5-0 if Marbury gets on another hot streak (and based on last nights game, that might be the case.) That would certainly get us back on track.

A 6 game winning steak after a 6 game loosing streak would sound about right, this is a .500 team after all.

In aLL reality we have to road games and 9 home games left. Toronto game should have never been that hard but we won and that is what counts. I'm afarid of us playing teams with healthy rosters on the road. Toronto has the worst offense in the freakin league 103 pts from them is nothing foe us to tip our hat on just yet. I wouldn't be suprised under Lenny we get our butts handed to us on the road with our matador defense,by starting off so bad, didn't they know how important this game was for Lenny? The next 7 games are gonna be like playoff games we could lose all those games easily or win them. Great watching the knicks having to play their best to make the playoffs. The milwaukee game is a must see!

Most important part we are starting to win close games again, a clear sine of developing chemistry.

yeah mostly because now it's not all Houston in the 4th quarter. Now it he has Marbury there incase he's off and vice versa. Usually when houston was off in the 4th quarter we lost.

So right, Gunz. Winning in the playoffs is simple: having more players able to hit a shot in the fourth quarter late in the shot clock. That's all there is to it. We used to be one dimensional, now we have two options when the stakes are high.

That's one of the reasons I disliked the trade. When it's a one posession game, and the ball swings around, instead of three players confident and reliable enough to take the shot and hit it (Star, H20, and KVH) we now only have two-- no one want TT to take the final shot at this point. I dunno, maybe that'll change. But look at all the upper echelon teams in the league. Some have three or even four players that you have to fear in that situation. Damn, could we use 'Sheed.

No game is going to be a cakewalk.
But.............

Knicks have cake-walk schedule for March madness compared to the competition:

Miami; 15 games; play 8 teams under.500; current March record 1-1

Toronto; 15 games; play 8 teams under.500; current March record 1-3

Cleveland; 15 games; play 7 teams under.500; current March record 2-1

Philly; 15 games; play 9 teams under.500; current March record 0-2

Boston; 14 games; play 6 teams under.500; current March record 2-0

NY; 14 games; play 10 teams under.500; current March record 2-0

Great watching the knicks having to play their best to make the playoffs.

I feel you Play-Dawg....only time will tell
