We took the ORL and first Bulls games. It would be easy for the Knicks to play uninspired in the game in Chicago. Can't rest on their laurels. Play this one as a must win also.

Philly. Still want a shot at the division so we don't have to deal with Mia or Chi.

this would be a HUGE win.

i'd rather face Chicago than Miami in the first round though. Miami scares me in the first round. I'd be fine meeting them later, but Miami will be out for blood in the first round.

we're 2.5 back of boston for the division, with one game against boston left.

if we could win the division and face Indiana or Atlanta in the first round?!?!?! HUGE.

Fuck it, catching Philly is more realistic but I want the division!

Right now, Atlanta or Indiana could be the 5th seed. So catching Boston means playing one of them with home court advantage.

Orlando looks like they're heading towards a collapse, so there is some chance we could capture the 6th seed if we pass Philly.

Then we would play Atlanta or Indiana without home court advantage. So we should be rooting for Philly to win tonight.

Since there's a better chance of taking the division than the 6th seed and we would have home court advantage round 1.

Root for Miami to overtake the Bulls so that if we finish 7th at the very least we get the Bulls in the 1st round and not the Heat. Give me indiana, orlando, atlanta or chicago. Don't want anything to do with Boston or Miami. Although I like our chances against Miami in the 2nd round with Amare & Lin

Circle the 18th on your calender. That's our next game against the Celts. I think we're gonna have a breakthrough!

knicks officially in the 7th seed for now. would like to see them climb higher, but let's take this one game at a time. beating the bulls in chicago sends a message to the rest of the east that the knicks are not a team you want to face in the first round.

"They can compete," Bulls center Joakim Noah said after the game. "We can't sit here and take that away from them. They're a tougher team than they were before. There's no doubt about that. They play hard every possession. I mean every possession. They're tough. They keep coming. They're showing a lot of heart. And they've got someone to give the ball to when it counts in Melo. I've got to give him credit.

"Actually, they can brag a little bit," said Rose, shockingly. "[The Knicks] know where to get the ball to now. Guys aren't taking many silly shots. Melo's at least touching the ball when they come down the court now. They're running the offense through him and he's making plays. He's hitting tough shots, great shots, making the game easy, and he's getting to the line.

"I've got to take my hat off to Coach Woodson. He's doing a great job of making sure everyone's playing hard and playing team basketball. You've got to give them credit. They're playing hard throughout the whole game. They're a great defensive team now. Especially when they get you playing out of control. But it still comes down to Melo."

We're getting respect now. From 2 very old school players in Rose and Noah. It feels good. That's what defense does for a team. Starting to fall in love again. Cautiously.
