What is this man doing? He needs to work with everyone on the team to improve shooting . Free throws, jumpers, 3 pointers. The only one who he doesn't need to reach out to is Novak. Fields needs h20 like a fish needs water. Allan, we need you !

houston is working with fields. i've always felt like shooting is something you can't necessarily teach. but there was a game recently where fields said houston was working with him before the game on his three point shot.

also, fields is 3-3 today, and the knicks are shooting 71% so this is kind of a weird time for this thread.

edit: fields now 4-4.

He is working on his comeback. Hopefully he will be ready in time for the playoffs.

Um, he's the Assistant GM, not a shooting coach.

And, yeah, if we're down by one in Game 7 against Miami with five seconds left, do the NBA rules allows us to insert our Assistance GM in the lineup?

I hope that Fields and Shumpert are coming around with their shot due to him. Him being assistant GM is great and everything

Just imagine what effect Zeke will have on their shots once he's coronated as Chief of Basketball Marketing/Scouting/Executive Mentoring/HR Compliance Operations.

I thought he was pretty much the manager of our D-League team.

You can teach a guy about the form all you want, but shooting is all mindset, practice, repetition, , confidence (To the point that a negative thought is a disease your body is completely immune to) consistency, proprioception, adjusting to the environment and your changes in your body, etc.. Just remember, Jared Jefferies has a very good form too.

People also don't realize all the little things you have to do to be a good shooter as well. You can teach this stuff until the cows come home, but until you get into the mindset that these correct things have to be part of your shooting every single shot, then one may never become a great shooter.

Somebody brought up Shumpert. I'm not sure if it was H20 or another trainer or just himself, but his shooting is MUCH better. You can see a dramatic difference between how he shot in college, and now. Completely different.

That function is covered under "HR Compliance"
