CRAP. Knicks deny it. But they weren't exactly forthcoming about Lin's injury.

Seth Rosenthal ‏ @seth_rosenthal
! RT @StevePopper: Carmelo said how impressive it is that Chandler is doing this with a fractured hand. Knicks quickly deny that. We'll see.

That would suck if it is accurate. Tyson has been playing like a beast. Maybe he is getting a shot or something before games for the pain. He had a huge two handed dunk that certainly didn't look like one a guy with a fractured hand would do.

things were so refreshing while donnie was here, there was no black curtain hanging around the franchise. the curbside interviews were gone, there was no secrecy about players coaches or anything. and donnie isn't even gone a full year and look at the **** we're dealing with. it really is pathetic.

Could not agree more. Have DW around actually made us forget how sick this franchise is.

yeah you wouldn't be throwing down dunks if you had a fractured hand.

If the Knicks don't make the playoffs and the Houston pick turns into a lottery pick I think his legacy here will be a bit more tarnished.

agreed. DW was great for this team. que sera.

woodson and grunwald have done well though. i don't think Donnie would make the kind of move to amnesty Chauncey and acquire Tyson that grunwald did. and we can't say for certain that Donnie would've signed Lin, either.

bottom line: the owner is the owner. the lakers ownership is always weird, but it doesn't seem to stop them. i wish we could get to the point where we stopped being able to blame the owner and could just focus on on the court stuff.

It's a stress fracture. He did it when he landed on his wrist in that game a month ago. That's vague, but you know the game I mean. He landed on it twice that game, hard!

When he came back after all-star break he winced after a slam dunk and held his hand.

Now they're numbing him!

First the AntiChrist hurts his own groin, then he destroys Lin's knee cartilage and injects him with arthritis while the poor kid's sleeping, then he sticks pins in Stat, and now this.

Is there no end to what this disgusting starphucque won't do to our once perfect team?

I said many moons ago that we would hear that Chandler really had a fractured wrist or would require wrist surgery at the end of the season. I guess Melo let the cat out of the bag a little early.

Can someone explain to me the extent of such an injury? In laymans terms....
Like is this something that just needs time to heal, or is he doing more damage by ignoring it.

I'm no medical expert, but I am an expert on the knicks. Thus, I conclude that whatever would lead to the most negative outcome is most likely occuring.

I have a great deal of respect for Tyson Chandler.
If any of this is remotely true, my respect
for him...as a player and a true warrior.....
just increased exponentially.

Man, and they're not dealing with this possible fracture? I don't know... this sounds more and more shady for Jim Dolan. I really hope he didn't intentionally keep Tyson in the game and ignoring this possible 'injury'. I hope Tyson isn't injured like that.

I don't think Tyson would put himself in danger like that. The team this year has seemed to deal with the players injury the right way.
