This guy forgot how to shoot free throws. He totally F'ed up his shooting stroke. He needs to get back to basics.

it's all mental now. and probably a big reason woodson "forgot" about him in 4th qtr in indiana. shump and jr seem to have 4th qtr minutes on lockdown. and now, maybe toney, too.

I'm not so sure it is mental. It's more form and he needs to get a new routine at the line. You know shrug the shoulders bend knee and shoot. The way I see it is his shot is flat only because he really doesn't bend his knees when he shoots. He has to much wrist action going on too not enough elbow involvement another reason for a flat shot.

He reminds me of Larry Hughes and his flat shot

Seems like once a game, Landry's blowing a defensive assignment, resulting in a Woodson timeout and an earful for Fields. I think once Amar'e comes back, Fields starts the game from the bench and Shump holds onto his spot.

You are assuming that Amare will start. I think that would be a monumental blunder.

Fields is a bit of a headcase. He's a good player, but he gets mentally out of it sometimes. The flat jumpshot thing is a total mental thing.

Idk his shot is so bad now I can't say that it's mental. I mean 59% FT? There just seems to be so much wrong there...

Fortunately you're not the Knicks coach.

I got a 151 on my LSAT without studying a damn thing. I can still hit 25 free throws in row straight out of bed with the flu.

I'm very smart, and I play basketball. Won't you help people like me?

Those three's he hit were possibly the ugliest thing since Willie Naulls one handed push shot. Fields almost looks like he's got no idea how to hold the ball.

I don't know what an LSAT is but I would get 300 on it without studying.

Amare was playing like a beast before he got hurt so it wouldnt make sense to bench him

With intensive studying, I can help you get a 158 and them you can probably get into a community school and that would be good enough to chase ambulances.

In turn, you can help me learn how to hit my free throws more frequently.

Like I said on another thread about Landry's free throw shooting: 50% of the time, it's good ALL of the time!

I don't know what happened to him mentally last year- his toughness, confidence and mistake free play was what made him stand out in the first half of his rookie season. He's the complete opposite now- even when he's having a good game, he still looks like he's out of his depth and is c***ing himself. It's just bizarre. Hopefully by the start of nex season, he'll feel more comfortable.
