The game against the Sixers is a must win. We just slid down to 7th place and the rest of the standings are very close together. I think we can go 4-1 in our next 5 games. But the way we have been playing right now, I dont know what to expect.

I think it's the most amazing thing that we managed to hold on to 6th place so long after losing 8 out of 9 games. :) Things could have been much worse.

Fortunately, we're still tied in the loss column with our playoff competition and are ahead of the pack behind. If we can win 4 of our next 6, I think we'll have sole possession of 6th place again with room to spare. :)

You're right, this situation is pretty strange. It also shows as the eastern conf is still weak. (though i'm sure indiana and detroit will be able to give the western teams a run for their money in a few months).

There are no excuses if the knicks drop this one. I'm looking for a win that just might get this knicks train rolling again like it was just before the all-star break.(5-2 record) I would love to see Allan make a big impact in this one.
The botton line is: we need to make the play-offs and be a well meshed team heading in. I like to think that it will happen with Lenny at the helm.

"From now on, I'm not going to get caught up in who's starting," Mutombo said. "It doesn't matter who starts, it's who finishes."

I like that qoute from Mutombo I hope he plays the important minutes.

they have to go in with the mindset that it has to happen. there is no other way but to win. losing is not an option. there at home and had two days to practice and rest. they are playing a division rival that are struggling also. we can not underestimate the sixers, though. they destroyed the lakers three weeks ago. but steph and houston need to go in and represent the garden. hold it down!

Remember when I told you guys that knicks players on the roster were playing hard only hoping they wouldn't get traded and some laughed , well seems to me that they stop playing hard and soon as they found out Zeke couldn't trade them. Y'all don't have to believe me , I hope we do well next season cuz Zeke done ruin this season fo sho..

Until we get a couple of wins under our belts, every game is the most important game of the season. Got to turn this around. Can't afford more home losses to sub-500 teams. I think we come out with more fire tonight, play some D, and get the win. If we don't, just increases the pressure to find that fire for the next game. We need the new guys to step up tonight, and I'm including Penny and Steph.

A loss to the Sixers will bring us to an even lower lowpoint of the season. Yeah, things are looking great when you start talking about a lower lowpoint lol.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Atlanta has beat some of the better teams and last night at home made the fakers eat dirt. I want us to run on the sixers tonight and get their big men in foul trouble. Philly has been playing some slap the floor defense lately and knocked off the wolves .
