Biggest Bull sh1t story I've ever read. Are the Knicks in any danger of not selling out all their home playoff games without Jeremy Lin?

Are you kidding me? SMFH. Can't believe I wasted my time reading this crap.

They waited a week to see if his knee improved before anouncing he would need surgery.

Yea, you're right, what was I thinking. Its not like Dolan ever did anything underhanded right?

Like that time the Knicks wanted to keep their consecutive sell out streak going even when the team was sucking. So they "bought" the tickets themselves to make it seem like there were still sellouts for a while. Oh yea, they kept that up until it became painfully obvious to everyone that there were empty seats. But that wasn't deception right? Dolan is always a straight up chap!

Yea, they waited a week to see if the torn ligaments in Jeremy's knee were going to sew themselves back together. Right, right.

But the playoffs? When have the knicks ever not sold out the playoffs?

Isola has a known axe to grind with the Knicks and revels in making MSG look bad. Whether his stories hold water or not.

Papabear Says

The Knicks would sell out every playoff game even if they traded Lin to another team. Let's be real.

The issue might not be selling out the seats but rather selling them for as high a price as possible.

I'm no Dolan apologist, but eventually some of ya'll are going to have to give him some props for the team he had a great hand in building. Unless, of course, you'd prefer to have Gallo on the IR rather than J Lin.
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Not this again! This thread would be a more reasonable one for your reply:

And Amare's back "just needed a message"......Amare was going on about being able to play and it was not "Big deal".

Knicks are in the entertainment business fellas.

YOu really think a surging team 3 games back from 4 seed is the same as "No Amre-No Lin" limping to 8th seed to get swept in first round?

your knee doesn't improve (without surgery) when you have a torn meniscus...

yea makes sense. So playoff off tickets went on sale last week already? Doesn't surprise me. Total Dolan move but they would've sold playoff tickets anyway. Maybe at a lesser price

I don't know what the real reason for holding back the information was, but they clearly weren't upfront with the injury reporting. I knew Lin was hurt more than was let on when a "phantom" 'sore knee' injury keeps a player sidelined for more than 2 games. Oh well.

That's as true as it gets, bro.

This seems like a Dolan tactic for sure. The Knicks would sell out the playoffs anyway, though.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I wonder what else they withheld?

Woodson got a life time supply of "just for men"?

Bibby retired last season?

JR smith is an idiot?

Knicks withheld injury info on lin in order to make sure they sold playoff tickets
