Former NBA guard Stephon Marbury led the Beijing Ducks to their first ever championship Friday, according to multiple reports.

Marbury scored 41 points in the game, which the Ducks won, 124-121.

“This has been incredible, it has been an incredible experience,” a reportedly tearful Marbury said. ”This shows what this team is made up of, everyone stepped up and everyone played their role. We have been blessed as a team.”

Marbury, a two-time NBA all-star, last played in the NBA with the Boston

My grandmother can lead the Beijing Ducks to a championship. Marbury is done. No need for him to get his confidence up and thinking he can come back to play for the NBA.

Marbury is happy in China, coming back would just mess with his mind.

He should win more championships in China.

Exactly. He's better off where he's happy. If he's winning, no matter where he's winning, at least he's winning a championship. He's got one championship over LeBron.

No need to hate. I didn't like Marbury's childish/drug-induced attitude when he was here, but whatever, it's the past and time to forgive. Hey, congratulations to Steph. He lead a team to a title, which is awesome on any level.

As for coming back to the NBA, he should only come back if he's comfortable being a reserve/mentor. If he gets more burn over in China, I would imagine he'd stay there. Congrats again to him.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Starbury was and still is a clown. Karma is a bitch and it will take care of his clown ass many times before his days are done.

In the wake of Jeremy Lin being lost for the regular season and first round of the playoffs because of knee surgery, it is possible the Knicks will add a veteran point guard for the playoff push.

One who is available: Stephon Marbury. The former Knicks led his Beijing team to the Chinese Basketball Association championship, scoring 42 points in the series clincher Friday night.

When The Post emailed Marbury last night asking what he would do if the Knicks gave him a call now that former adversary Mike D’Antoni is gone, Marbury responded, “NOTHING.’’

Plus your granny has always been one hell of a practice player. I seen her run rooks straight out of the league.

It was the first professional title for Marbury, 35, who spent 13 seasons in the N.B.A. In his final stop, Marbury was a nonfactor for the Boston Celtics, a team he joined after being told to stay home rather than sit on the bench for the Knicks.

After finally finding success with his third team in China, Marbury is unlikely to leave for the N.B.A. and even less likely to play for the Knicks. Still, the timing of his career resurgence is made all the more intriguing by the state of his former team.

-- Fred BIERMAN ??? of the NY Times.

I would smell Bermanbury ghost writing if not for the fact that there's no mention of Marbles leading us back into the playoffs back in the day...

How in the world could someone have left the league being a non-factor for the Geri-Celtics and someone then think it's even worth inkwaste to bring him back to the NBA?

Maybe the Nets should sign him since they've won three in a row. That would get the Czar some back page attention.

Im sure there is no thought inside the Knicks management and owner to even consider this.

Marbles must know this and his answer was the only thing he could say.

If your fishing for a good quote the best one can do is ask marbles a question. You never know what you might get.

Imagine if he thought it was a good idea?

Love Marbs! Oh well......
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

There's not enough Vaseline in the world to cure how he'd feel if he came back to the NBA. He should stick with the only place he had success: China. Bigger potential market there anyway.

If he came back he should have his no. 3 jersey with the name: "Mar Bu Li"!

His return would make for great TV!
