New CBA only allows one week for players to delcare for the draft and then the window closes.
It used to be like a 6 week window where players can at their own expense fly around and work out for teams as long as they also did not hire an agent.
Now in one week you can't really get anything done.
Players are still telling reporters "They going to test the waters"!
There is no water. Your either staying or leaving.
There are always blue chips that will do good, other players taken on the huge potential, and then those who are leaving and won't get drafted.
Its being done to protect the NCAA and the NBA to some extent but does it really screw the players?
Is it really unfair or really just the reality of instead of "testing the waters" which is a way of "Seeing the love" it forces players to grow up a little faster.
The buisiness is fierce and cut throat. Leave college and you find out.
