Our chances of winning just went through the roof!

In all seriousness, I know that TD played terrible this year but we have all seen him play really well in the past. I would love to see him get a fresh start and another shot to be a contributor. He was once even talked about for 6th man of the year! I think he was also playing in a system that he could not grasp and was leading the Knicks in 3 point attempts at < 25 pct.

I can't stand davis plus he can't play that many minutes if we want to save him. Bibby is ... Bibby - an eighty y/o that looks like a teenager.

I think TD will actually play well tonight and I am rooting for him!!

I was thinking the same thing. I do not want to see that guy on the court ever again. This guy does nothing but hoist 3's. When I think TD, I think of the Isiah era!

DWTDD has nothing to do with Isiah. He was drafted by Donnie Walsh.

He can be an honorary Isiah Thomas pick.

Didn't we buy that pick during the draft?

EDIT: We did. http://www.nba.com/knicks/news/090625toney_release.html

yeah - it was 29 or something like that. I am still not convinced that he is completely awful. Woody seems convinced

I dunno. I thought we decided to blame it on Isiah.

I hope he regains whatever he lost and becomes a useful player again. As it is, can he really be that much worse than Baron or Bibby right now?

Douglas had 2 strong and 1 nightmare season. I actually wish the Knicks would buy more picks like Isiah did that year. With the amount of money Dolan has free to throw around, we should be coming out of every draft with 2 to 3 first round picks. If the average team has 10 1st round picks a decade and we have 25, luck will be much more likely to bounce our way. I'd rather do that than starphuck.

According to espn, Baron's hamstring has tightened up.

Isiah didn't buy that pick, Donnie was hired the year before. And, unfortunately, we can't really buy picks anymore. In the new CBA, teams are only allowed to trade $3M total every year, instead of per trade. One thing I'm not sure of is if we can buy a pick in this year's draft; we used our $3M in the trade to get Tyson but I don't know if the draft is considered part of this season or next.
