bitch move by griffin. take your frustration out on jason smith the next time you play him, not another guy on his team.

Good point i agree

Ariza their best make no sense plus he's tough SOB

but you go after the primary jerk whom did action against you

The Griffin move proved diddly squat and made Blake seem like immature jerk as Jason Smith is

i won't approve but will give him a tip of the cap for doing it himself rather than sending some scrub out to do his dirty work

NYK is right. Smiths foul was FUBAR and bushleague but Blake shouldn't have taken it out on Ariza. Two wrongs don't make a right in this case.

Exactly. He should have focused on getting his revenge against the man who butchered him.

LOL @ Blake's comments after that foul on Ariza... Dude is trying to be a tough guy...

Griffin Finds Retribution Against Hornets With Hard Foul On ArizaMar 27, 2012 10:12 AM EDT

Blake Griffin delivered a hard foul on Trevor Ariza in Monday's game between the Clippers and Hornets, which was called a flagrant 1 foul.

Griffin was knocked to the ground last week by Jason Smith and he appeared to seek retribution in this return matchup. Smith did not play due to suspension.

"Man, I get fouled 10 times harder than that and they call a regular foul," said Griffin. "That wasn't a flagrant foul. I'm going to appeal that one."

Griffin glared at the Hornets' bench following the foul.

"Yeah, I walked back because they stood up like it was going to be something," Griffin said. "There was nothing, man, and you can publish that."

Can you imagine simple Blake trying that mess on Oakman ? even if Oakman was on other team and Blake as he clocked
Ariza, Oakman would make Blake his sissy

Blake would have to ask mgmt. to take week off for fright! *lol

Tell you what, I have more of a problem with Blake's than Smith's. Don't get me wrong, Smith's was clearly a flagrant and was rightly ejected, but at least Blake was on the ground for that foul. Blake thugged Ariza in the air. Luckily he got right back up, but he easily could have had an awkward landing and done some damage. Bitch move.

man, that was Kevin Garnet bitchy. Not only did he pick on the wrong guy but, he's a big picking on a small. You go after the guy who did it to you or another big on the squad.

So, he has shown himself to be a bit of a bully and a flopper. Good thing I already disliked him.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I admit he's a good player, but I really don't like Griffin as a person- he's a soft guy pretending to be tough (fugatsy!), I just find him annoying.

Retaliation is for losers. You want to prove a point? Go throw a Kevin Love game at them, BlakeBoy

This really makes Griffin look like a douche.

Although I never did like Ariza. Can't really remember why though...I think I just hate all Knicks who go off and do better somewhere else...

exactly. You retaliate by posterizing and or winning the game. I liked Ariza when he was here. He was Shump before there was a Shump but, with even less of a jump shot. His defense had a lot to do with that championship LA won and, it (the defense) slipped at that position when they traded him for Crazy Ron.

Oh, not another "WWOD":

What would Oak Do?

Oak would fly across the court and beat up Smith and his family, then find his girlfriend and hunt down the eggs in overies and hold them hostage and threaten to spawn them to show the world he owns smiths and his future generatons. Then Oak would fly backwards in time like superman and find his mother minutes before he concieved him, instead, Oak impregnates her, making Smith his son, and enslaves him at his carwash to towel duties (min tips) for the rest of his life reminding him daily that in another life he was an NBA player but he messed up, so now he is little Oak and will never ever mess with him!

Then, flash back to the future Oak and his salmon spawned clan and enslaved son are headline TMZ news as Oaks super powers of time travel and super oxygen defying sperm are exposed and Oak is finally at peace in a state mental institution for his mad exploits telling inmates of his days being wingman to Jordan, gold club with ewing and all the Salmon Spawn children he has.

Yeah, Oak would not have any of it!

Thats what charles would do!

He is rumored to be playing "Benson on Broadway" if they can find the financing

Just checked the schedule and these 2 teams play again 4/22. Both players should be on the court at the same time, I bet it's a non event and they hug, shake hands, high five...tweet each other.....

Yea, I don't see why it was retaliation either..esp hard to judge after seeing a 12 sec clip. It didn't even look like he was winding up or if there was a follow through to be a flagrant. Both players left the ground at the same time, neither had the sense to go straight up. It just looked like a hard foul which looks worse when you consider the difference in size and strength of the two players, Blake is a Beast. Besides we beat up on Amare for letting guards waltz by him and even moving the heck out of the way. Amare should be an intimidating presence and contesting every shot (although not by flying into people) and a hard foul, as a result of a defensive effort once in a while, isn't the worst thing. It doesn't necessarily mean its malicious or vengeful.

This was unquestionably a flagrant

as was this

When you have griffin and Ariza collide mid-air...it's not exactly a mystery who would go flying in that match up. The foul on Fields a couple of weeks back...now that was a flagrant. Jason Kidd whacking Lin across the head and pulling his hair on the way down...that should have been a flagrant for sure. But both of our guys are way smarter than to have to resort to crap like that or retaliate. You can tell with Jeremy, no matter how hard anyone fouls him, the only way he retaliates is by playing harder and not backing down.

You never approve of a flagrant foul. Flagrant fouls are violent, so they kill the hoops on the court. Player could get career ending injury! Kirby Pucket caught a baseball in the head and he had to become an announcer. The foul by Smith on Griffin wasn't so bad because Griffin was on the ground! Ariza was in air and could have died, but Ariza still got up quicker than Griffin!

Griffin should lose endorsements!
