Even worse, it appears there may be a virus/trojan associated with that link.

Did you click on it? I did. I'm going to check and see if I picked up a Trojan. God damnit.

Yeah, I did. I'm an idiot. A dialog box popped immediately up and I knew something was wrong so I end-tasked the browser and ran Malwarebytes. Luckily my pc came up clean.

My PC came up clean as well. I didn't get any pop-up though when I clicked it. These Trojans/Virus are a bitch to deal with once it inflicts your comp.
