Remember him? We had high hopes for him, when we got him in the David Lee trade, but it turned out his surgery had been botched and he had to have it re-done. We then cut him and he seemed to vanish into oblivion. Well after about 2 years, it seems he's returning:

Kelenna Azubuike will sign with the Mavericks, according to sources.

The deal will be for two years as the veteran minimum, with the second season being a team option.

Azubuike hasn't played since the beginning of the 09-10 season because of a knee injury.

Azubuike will begin his comeback with the Texas Legends of the D-League.
