6 game winning streak back in Feb under MDA vs a possible 6 game winning streak in March under Woodson. Linsanity round 1 was a scorcher but Linsanity round 2 is a little more well rounded, subtle, smarter and doesn't came with the media hype. This sequel does not suck.

Which Linsanity do you like more? I'm going with Woodson's Linsanity because he's playing both ends of the court and his Points/Assists ratio are consistent and where it needs to be. Linsanity round 2 is a complete package and the Knicks are playing unlike anything they have ever played before.

Great 4th quarter by Lin tonight, but this 5 game streak should not be confused with a Linsanity Renaissance. When Lin broke out of his cage in February, he put this group on his back. "Round 2" is an absolute TEAM effort. Amar'e's coming alive. Melo is motivated. JR and Novak are fire from the outside. Lin is now a cog in this machine, and I love it. The gimmick is gone...

That said...let Woodstock 2012 continue!

It's called Teamsanity these days, and I'm loving that. We aren't some crutch of leaning on the PnR or JJ2 and Chandler.

Not talking about the rest of the team, I'm just comparing Lin versus himself under two different coaches. He is still the same player but I like him now that he has added a few more games under his belt and is also playing D and shooting with accuracy.

Lin is learning more and more every day and he's a much more settled and experienced player than he was. He's getting smarter and reading situations better. IMO it was bound to happen as he got more playing time. The kid has almost no prior NBA experience. Lin is more under control now. He's able to harness his talent and he's been a great 4th qtr performer all year. Now he's even better at it.

I like the first Linsanity.

Woodsanity has a LONG way to go before it will even be worthy of being in the same sentence as the original Linsanity.

Its awesome that he rises to the occasion in clutch moments. Aside from that foul on Meeks he looked like an experienced vet. Super clutch hitting all of those free throws.

Well in truth it's not quite as exciting, but that's hard to duplicate cuz it came from nowhere and the team was severely undermanned at the time compared to this souped up roster with everyone playing. This was sudden, but we've kind of known this team could play like this if they put it all together.

Yup.

I will never forget the Lakers game. I don't have the time nor the energy right now to describe how I felt watching that game. Easily a top 3 moment in the history of sports.

I disagree about the excitement level. The first Linsanity was about close games and one guy plus Novak. This is about a total team saying you will not reach 90 and thank God that you hit 85, against our second unit. I also like the fact that Lin is now playing with a scouting report and he has help to bring the ball up the floor. This is way better and not as fluky.

+100

That was short term/instant gratification and this time around it is an actual view into what we can be in the playoffs.

Guys are missing the point.

Linsanity was once in a billion years.

If Woodsanity is rousing the same feelings for you as Linsanity was, something is wrong with your brain.

The difference is that it's not a miracle every night. Instead it's a total team effort that is more repeatable. Lin is playing great and getting the ball to everyone. This latest win streak is far more impressive since everyone's involved.

Also quit bellyaching OP if the rest of the posters don't want to strictly adhere to how you framed the winning streaks. It's about the Knicks winning games. Forget flukes and gimmicks! Lin is for real, and it looks like the Knicks are too.
