I picked out Royce White a few weeks ago when I was watching film for their up coming game against Uconn--I could see he was real good but he is going to be a mid first rounder. I like both kids from Marquette but the guy who I have fallen in love with this year is C J Leslie . I would use the Isiah Thomas--be quiet promise and see if we can get a pick. I dont think we are going to pay 5mm per to Fields Lin Novak and JR Smith--I think trading Fields and going for a late first rounder and taking this kid is a good deal.

that's surely going to lin, no?

smith we have a $2.5 mil option, but my guess is he, novack, and possibly even jeffries are gone next year.

we will need a shooter or 2 in the draft, surely.

i suspect we buy a pick.

Do we even have a 2nd rounder this year?
After the latest CBA, Draft picks are valued much higher than in the previous system.
I recently read an article that stated the days of 3 Million dollar draft picks are gone.

I think to retain Smith Fields Novak and Lin each guy could very well get a 5mm $ starting deal from someone. I dont see us paying out that kind of loot. I think we can S+T Fields to a team with a later first rounder maybe 18-24 and pick up Leslie.
