If Golden State fans could boo owner Joe Lacob in that fashion during Chris Mullen's ceremony, the reception James Dolan would receive would make GS fans seem like a walk in the park.

Rick Barry berating the fans after the 3 minute mark make it seem like WWE.

I think that even if he was speaking at the Knicks Championship Parade Dolan would get booed very badly.

the fans may have come off as "classless," but the real mistake here was sending out the new owner, of a losing team, that has been mismanaged for the last decade, and letting him MC the event. it was Chris Mullin's moment and the MC should have been one of the Warriors commentary guys or a well-spoken ex-teammate of Chris'. the owner was trying to mooch off the feel-good vibes of the ceremony and the crowd wasn't having it.

Interesting take and probably right.

not even sure why they're booing him.. because they traded Monta Ellis? Did I miss all the playoffs he lead them to?

Yep- they are furious he traded Monta Ellis- which I don't really get- he had to go, and that back court of him and Curry was never going to work. Still, I don't think getting Bogut was a good move- there's no point in having players who are always injured as it just holds you back.

That's an awkward video to watch- classy move by Mullin, coming to defend the owner. The thing is out of all the owners in the nba, the Warriors one is one of the better ones. Wish Clipper fans got the chance to show their owner what everyone thinks of him.

If Dolan was the one doing it, I would be throwing raw rotten eggs and tomatoes at him. Not kidding. I would've thrown knives at him but my aim isn't that good and I don't want to hurt innocent ppl.

he should not have chosen to speak after the guest of honor did. he wanted the limelight, and he got it.

yep. and it's more than a bad decade. they've made the playoffs 6 times in 36 years. 1 time in the last 18 years. rough for a team that always seems to have a decent amount of talent.

And they have a pretty dedicated fan base that deserves better. Granted, the defeat of the number 1 Mavs was great, but then they blew the team up and have done absolutely nothing since.

Don't forget the Warriors also cut JLin before the start of the season.

This was a stupid thing to do. Lacob didn't deserve it. Monta isn't worthy of ruining Mullin's night.

Dolan, though, would deserve every ounce of boos given to him. And he knows it. Which is why he'll never, ever speak in front of the fans in any situation.

OMG! That was horrible. Are there a lot of Philadelphia transplants in the Bay Area?
