Personality/Sanity aside, this guy was on of the great talents in basketball. But I think he's matured a bit. I've read interviews twhere he said in the past he just didn't get it and ruined what could've been a great career. I think if he wanted he could still play a supporting role on an NBA team. Imagine him being halfway decent starting for the Heat? |

![]() His time here was possibly the worst era in Knicks history (it made me nostalgic for the previous era with Howard Eisley and that terrible back up SF we got from Utah, whose name I have erased from my memory), but I'm glad he's found some happiness and success now- on a personal level, it must be hell having the collective NY and national media slamming you every day.
I still wonder whether he did lose it mentally while he was with us, or whether he had actually become a born again christian and just kept it quiet- it kind of makes some of his starnger interviews make more sense in that light. Hope he gets that championship, but at the same time I hope we never get another Berman report mentioning him ever again. |
