Our Knicks have a deep, balanced roster that boasts star power as well. The Eastern Conference should be very afraid. 3rd seed is in sight and a first round win despite what the haters are predicting. All it took was for a real coach to get the job and demand ACCOUNTABILITY, something MDA NEVER did. Go Knicks!

Actually it is the 4th seed, Orlando has been playing well so it will be hard to catch up with them, but Philly is a team we can catch no doubt about it. W have a game against them we must win.

We are only 4 games away from them, boston HAS A TOUGH sched ahead.

Hah, let's just worry about holding the 8th seed first before we get ahead of ourselves. Milwaukee is playing some king of inspired basketball right now and Celtics is a win some lose some team. It is going to be hard to get out of these two Celtics/Bucks sandwich that Knicks are currently wedged in between.

It really is crazy how fast things have turned around. We were totally out of it before, but now the Knicks actually do have a shot to get back in it. Even if it's a remote chance. The Sixers aren't as far away as they were and the Celtics are on a road trip from hell.

Eastern Conference
Atlantic W L PCT GB CONF DIV HOME ROAD L 10 STREAK
Philadelphia 4 25 20 0.556 0.0 18-10 3-2 16-9 9-11 4-6 L 3
Boston 7 23 21 0.523 1.5 18-11 6-3 16-8 7-13 6-4 L 2
New York 8 21 24 0.467 4.0 14-14 4-5 13-10 8-14 4-6 W 3

The Knicks have a tough road ahead, but it's still within their grasp if they are determined to keep playing this kind of defense.

I want us to get be the 5th seed and maybe Pacers drop to 4. We can definitely beat them we just proved that. I think we can beat Philly as well.

We have two games left against them and must win both. I think most people are expecting the Celtics to fall out of contention.

This team is capable of falling to the 9th seed just as much as they're capable of grabbing the 3rd seed.

Let's not forget that.

This is the point where the Knicks get my hopes up and then lose a home game against the Raptors.

We have to be real careful about getting too excited. I love how they've played and I was a big time supporter for MDA leaving. But it's going to be hard to play like this over the next 22 games consistently. I think they can do it. But to reach the 4th seed we really have no room for error. I'd be content with being in the playoffs and playing our best ball headed into the 1st round. As I said elsewhere, our best chance may be surpassing Boston. Milwaukee looks great and Philly is really going to have to fall apart to lose the Atlantic.

It's amazing that this has a chance to play out a lot like 99. Except this team is far better.

Knicks just need to win as many games as possible. The seeding will take care of itself.

Yep, we especially need to beat the Bucks both times.

IMO it may not be as hard as some think for this team to play like this the rest of the way. Really this is how the team was playing during Linsanity in terms of the role players defensive effort. Even during the losing streak the role players fought and brought the team back on D. Now with Jared and Tyson back the team is pretty much back to the way it was playing. I think that the key is for STAT n Melo to at least not fall all the way back to lazy mode. If Woody can keep them at least at last nights level on D, it's entirely possible for the role players to carry this team to a higher seed.

Believe it or not, because of this statement and our recent history, the Raptors game is a huge game. These are the games in the past that we play down to the competition. Lets see us come out with the same passion and fire....

I think this time with Woody coaching and with Tyson, Jared back and Lin, Shump and JR really getting after it defensively, this team is in a better position to not backslide against teams like the Raps. Lin is also more experienced now and I think tougher for all the pounding he's endured. I just get the feeling that this teams mental toughness has finally matured. Also the Teams SOLIDARITY is strong. There's no more infighting right now. So this could be really sustainable.

All I'm worrying about is injuries. You'll never know... Winning 5 losing 1 is better than winning 1 and losing 1 and then losing 3 in a row.

I believe if we overtake the sixers and win the Atlantic we get the 3rd seed automatically.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare
