This is single game of the year which Knicks had to win, WON it then gave gift-wrapped 100x to Boston Celtics on their court <again>
Boston Celtics are not even good this season.

http://www.postingandtoasting.com/2012/3/4/2844268/celtics-115-knicks-11-ot-this-is-a-pain-like-no-other

NY Knicks had no business losing this game and reason for slide out to hell. NONE
a Knick game Carmello Anthony already won a prior shot made.

Knicks 3 pt lead with what under > 18sec left ?

Whole basketball universe knew Paul Pierce was getting the ball. Why Mike ? Why ?
Pierce gonna get ball you have to deny that ! Simple foul Or HUGG P.Pierce force the ball out of Pierces hands.
HOW THE HELL CAN YOU NOT FOUL Em' TO GO SHOOT 2 FT WHEN UP BY 3 F^$^$Luc-in points ?
HOW The heck can you not double-triple team Pierce ?

D'Antoni never does that cause he's just concern solely with NY gettting ball back with time. This is reason Knicks lost
This is reason for horrific slide no defensive mindset mentality of coaches. Its all about shots and having the ball at end.

Mike D'Antoni never wins BIG Games for Knickerbockers. This is case before Anthony arrived here & afterwards
The only HUGE Games D'Antoni ever won here for Knicks is:
* Game that Stephon Marbury drove the length of court and won Game as clock ran out (2008)
* Game Knicks Beat LA Lakers in NY, J.Lin vs Kobe Byrant 2012; J.Lin 38pts
* Game Knicks Beat Dal Mavs in NY;

Marbury BEATs Utah Jazz <Deron Williams> M.D'Antoni knick coach:

Knicks season changes came down to 1 play, Pierce 3pt tie shot sending a sure Knick win to OT.

This led to D'Antoni vs MELO II Heavyweight-Boxing Match.

Unfortunately Rest is history
IF Knicks win that game currently their whole season is different!

The Marbury game winner was 2007 before Dantoni, remember Marbury did not play one game under Dantoni only preseason because Dantoni was in love with Chris DUDU DUhon and told Steph he was going in another direction

It wasn't D'Antoni chose to sit Marbury, it was that the organization decided to go a different direction and they wanted to put the Marbury days behind them. You make your own history up now.

Also MDA didn't love Duhon. Duhon was the only guard that would accept the short term contract the Knicks were offering. I've said this over and over, but the MDA haterz refuse to accept that the Knicks were not looking to win in the 1st 2 years as much as they were looking to eventually cut cap for 2010. They never really tried to get a good PG which we know they needed. If the Knicks were actually trying to win, no way they trade Zbo and Jamal.

Besides all this nonsense about MDA who actually went to the WCF's and won 60+ games against the toughest comp in the league out west is just stupid. You can't bash a guy that is winning like that with a small team no less. Imagine how good he had to have that team be in order to make up for the lack of D from Nash and STAT??? Look no further for why the team struggled to be better than middle of the league on D. Fans and media have always blamed the wrong guy for the Suns weak D. Now that we have STAT we can see who the real culprit was. MDA would still be here if STAT and Melo actually gave effort up to the level of player they're supposed to be.

That isn't the entire truth. Duhon was brought in but Walsh wanted to get something for Marbs and his expiring contract. D'Antoni wanted nothing to do with Marbury and banished him and put Walsh in a spot. Marbury was eventually bought out but Walsh saw him as a tradeable player with a desireable contract. D'Antoni ended his career with the Knicks.

Crush is 100% correct
MDA already put Marbs in doghouse prior or as camp was beginning and he begged D.Walsh to go after Duhon as starter PG whom
nearly signed with Magic instead before MDA insisting on getting Chris Duhon

The lie that MDA didnt want Duhon is garbage

Good point. Walsh didn't push against D'Antoni's decision, so they are both in cahoots on this. I think Walsh would have liked to get something for Stephon but it was not the end of the planet if he did not; I don't think it was a pressing matter; Dolan was ready to buy the bum out.

The organization was going a different direction, Marbury was not going to see any daylight any longer; at best they would have liked to showcase him a little bit so that they will dump the contract in a deal, but it was clear that Marbury had no future with the Knicks at that point in Sports History.

This re-iterates the False
that not all of Walsh or mgt moves were NOT without MDA consent and consultation

the notions on this board is bunch of Knicks movements and roster changes made were done 100% and 100% of it were either
stated NOT MDA guys or his inputs and feedbacks is Hog-wash garbage

Some of mgmt/Knicks in charge moves ALL were not MDA doing and some team players brought to knicks were made
but to give impression Mike had absolutely no say in the Tim Thomas types, Chris Duhon's, Feltons or some of Knicks drafts
hand picked by D'Antoni is showing Mike had some strength in few things may not be all,

But do not ever Feel D'Antoni did not make up some of these Knicks teams through the yr
That notion was false & shown today long before MDA quit on his team and Quit on fans & quit on NY City

As a say MDA may have been nice family guy off court with success

But he was never ever NY, Didnt care for NewYork as the spin he tried to put on it and to this day I say Mike D'Antoni could
care less for NewYork City and leaving he isn't shedding a single tear nor losing any sleep he treats NY like its just some
other place which isnt his home.

That is fine with the DJ cause I knew it!
