That's touching. And I really feel for them. Now shut up and play effin basketball. Stat had to go get rebounds tonight - he hates that!!!

And he knows, with Woody, he sux - he sits! No more no show/no effort games.

You can tell STAT is angry about the change and essentially blamed Carmelo in the locker room post-game.

Also notice that MDA seemed to speak with each player individually this afternoon after his decision except Carmelo.

Look people should know you don't listen to anything that comes out of espn. They are the master diggers. Matter of fact Marc Berman should get a job there

Amare was so upset him and melo came out looking dominant in the 1st half and put the game to rest without needing to play in the 2nd half. First time both players played well together in who knows how long

B-diddy was cheesing-it-up during the game. Stat was having a blast on the bench aswell. Winning cures all ills. Just win Baby!!!

The only one that I can see being upset and thinking that he will lose alot here is Lin. MDA was willing to force the offense through Lin by hook or by crook and now, I believe that it will be more balanced and not feature him solely.

I think he will still be a good player but never the great player that we saw for those 10 games. Teams have adjusted to him and he has been finding it really hard to penetrate. His shot is also way too spotty.

I hope I am wrong because I love Lin and love that he came out of nowhere but its just my opinion/prediction.

that might have had something to do with the fact that portland basically laid down five minutes into the game. you realize there's such a thing as inferior competition right? portland is more EFFED than the knicks right now.

let's see them do this against a real team that is trying to win. and, no, that doesn't mean i'm rooting against them.

it means i'm thinking that most of the team supported d'antoni. go back and read howard beck's article from this morning: "Anthony and REST OF TEAM NOT ON SAME PAGE"

If Lin didn't go to Harvard I'd possibly see him joining MDA in Washington but being the intellectual Harvard grad that he is he is not stupid to join a perennial lottery team

Not on the same page or simply showing class and support for their former coach?

Chandler went out of his way to defend Melo in the post game. Journalism these days are Sensationalism at its best. I'm sure there is some truth buts its extremely exaggerated....

you dudes want some non-spin media? read ken berger

So yes, just as everyone believed in May 2008 when D'Antoni was hired, and again in February 2011 when Anthony was acquired, the Knicks are back. They're back, all right. Back in the stone age of their own self-imposed misery.

http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/ken-berger/17792395/carmelo-anthony-and-the-knicks-both-got-what-they-wanted

this situation makes the knicks a lead wide embarassment. i hope they win, but our chances of getting another elite coach to commit when it is clear that melo calls the shots are slim and none.

He did, which I didn't like at all considering how the rest of his teammates defended Melo.
