Last year it was Amare for mvp and you gotta trade your whole team for Melo if its what it takes. Now they are second rate stars. Com'n man!

the media is just as reactionary as this board. sports coverage kind of demands off the cuff ranting. it's what we all do here.


last season half this board was saying you trade everything you can for melo and don't think twice.

I would say les than half cos most fans wanted Melo without giving up the whole team which is what Donnie wanted.

Newspapers need stories and making up shyt is what they do. Making mountains out of mold hills and just completely blow everything out of proportion to get the effects going. All it does is create rifts in the fans and team. Completely destroying any continuity that the team is trying to build. Now you know why it's so hard to win in NY.

we have all been around long enough to know the media loves to build you up to amazing heights, just as much as they will gleefully enjoy tearing you apart.
