They need TT to shoot more, and KT to shoot less.

Is it too soon to start a FIRE LENnnnNY chant and bring in Fratello? The most fun had this season was listening to the Fire Chaney chants at the garden.

Not even close. The loss was sealed by a team effort that began in the first quarter. We barely got closer than 10 points after that.

I'm not really a Shandon Anderson fan, I'm just saying that I wished the other players worked as hard as he does, and tried to play around the rim like he tries. I'm so tired of watching soft basketball.

the knicks now lost 6 which i easily see them losing to the 76ers.. the knicks just might not even make the playoffs.. they have the talent to win but lost... i still cant get over losing to the clipz and suns this team is really sad... its not about championships this year but this team just makes you want to be forced to say maybe next year or 2...

Well, see my "Has IT done a good job poll" thread...

Houston's return is pretty big stuff--- but at his age, his chronic knee condition, and with his miles, he'll never have the consistency he once had.

We had a 5 game winning streak between Jan 30 - Feb 8th. Since then we've gone 1-8. Ouch. That's 6-7 with Houston out, 0-1 with Houston (tonight).

It's also 1-6 since the TT/NM trade, tho neither played much of a part in the win vs Detroit.

I think we're still scoring well enough in SPITE OF LOSING KVH/Doleac. We're still dropping points in the mid-90s-- maybe chalk that up to our athleticism. However, we've lost our defense and courtsmarts. We're turning the ball over since the TT/NM trade a heck of a lot.

Defensively, we've only held teams under 90 points TWICE! In the month of Feb, our opponents scored 100 points or more 5 out of 12 games. I know TT is a renowned poor defender, but I never heard much about NM. Whatever the case may be, our defensive chemistry is horrible. Costly turnovers have resulted in a lot of fast break points.

Our consistency in offensive execution and defensive effort has been poor as of late. We've executed poorly in the clutch, and likewise, it seems like teams are prone to go on high scoring runs against us.

I'm very worried that we may not reach the playoffs. Right before the all-star break, it looked like we had a game plan. We've regressed quite a bit since then, once again fighting for a playoff spot. We're in the thick of a race where a 2 game winning streak could really distance you from the pack.

Unfortunately, it looks like we're in a race w/ Toronto, Boston, Philly, and Miami for who can lose the most games and still qualify for the playoffs. We're losing, but hey, they have been too.

A game plan ? I'd say that we were winning, and good teams were starting to hate see us in the playoffs.

The race you're talking about is a race were you don't have to be the best to win, bbut not be the worst instead. This season is turing into a shame, as we really had something special before the allstar.

How IT handled this is plain sad. I'm starting to understand why he may have been thrown away a few times.

I'm bored.

Poor you. This season was a shame before IT got here. Be glad he gave you a glimmer of hope. Even losing with Marbury and Thomas is more exciting to watch than winning with Chaney was.
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...
