Heard Steven A on the radio on the ride home from work ranting about the Knicks. I definitely agreed with most of his points including his laundry lists of Lin's shortcomings. Again, I am a huge Lin fan, but I am not blind to his obvious weak areas. A couple of his points were completely off base though. For example, he was saying that the Baron should be playing instead of Lin, if he had is legs and didn't have his back problem. Problem is he doesn't have his legs back yet and has shown the same proclivity to toss the ball around as Lin. Although I must admit, Davis does looker "cooler" when he does it. LOL! Both have horrendous assist to turnover ratio, with Baron's being slightly better. The worst is shooting percentage. Davis is shooting freakin' 30% from the field since his return, yet we complain when Lin goes 5-18 in one game. That is only slightly worse than what Davis does EVERYTIME out on the floor. All that being said, if Davis shows signs of improvement with his shooting and turnovers, this Lin fan has no issue watching Linsanity come off the bench. Let the wiley veteran Davis deal with distributing to the "Stars", if we think that will help. We need something!

He is funny to listen to. He mixes knowledge with BS and personal strong bias most of the time.

Have any of you guys heard he was a bit racist? I have seen that mentioned on the other forum and wondered if it was true and why. I don't mean against his own color of course.

Lin would ball Stephen A up. One on one basketball, Lin 149 pts and Stephen A. Smith 10 points.

Of course Stephen A hates Lin. Lin isn't black.

Lets see....including the coming out party versus the Nets on February, Lin has played 18 games. His rankings versus the full year Stats for other NBA Stats leaders are as follows:

Asst/Game - 8.5 - 3rd
Steals/GAme - 2.4 2nd
Points/Game - 20.4 13th
Turnover/Game - 4.8 1st

Stephen A is the worst and arguably the most obnoxious so called "analyst" on tv. The only one comparable is his good buddy Skip Bayless. Both those guys are useless.

Baron's assist to turnover ratio is slightly better? that shines a pathetic light on Baron Davis considering that he's not on the scouting report and Lin is.

yeah let the old recreation pickup guy start but one hard foul and it's "i've fallen and i can't get up"
