You wouldn't take the bobcats for this roster? D'Antoni would have the Bobcats at .500, at least.

i would take the timberwolves or even GSW... GSW's record is similar to ours.
Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Okay, lest be fair here. Why couldn't MDA produce a winning season with the (pre-Melo) 2008-09 Knicks? Or the 2009-10 (pre-Melo) Knicks?

Asking him to be fair? He just Trolls and is like a mosquito. Wasting your time.

Very hard to have an intelligent dialogue with him. Its like dealing with my ADHD 12 year old nephew.

Never had a suitable point guard. When Duhon was playing at a decent level, Knicks were doing well, but then Duhon hit the bottle.

Knicks 2010-2011 were 28-26 at the time of the trade but they were actually much better, because the ugly, dark clouds of trade rumors put a damper on their mood.

With the Bobcats, you have Diaw and you have Kemba Walker plus DJ! He'll get them to overachieve, I'm sure of it.

You don't know how to talk sports; probably the guy that would pull out a sports encyclopedia at a sports bar, or a Beckett trading card magazine. I don't know what your deal is, but you're not your usual happy-go-lucky self; you're ugly right now, ugly.

The game is won on the otherside of the ball. That team wouldn't play much defense. Diaw, reportedly is about to get cut. He only plays well against MDA defsnive led teams...

I think you are stuck to your own sack (as usual). You spam every post with the same MELO-Dramatic BS. Everyone know where you stand - you don't need to keep saying the same crap over and over and over and over again.

We know. You think Melo is a cancer, hitler, a girl, Kim Jung Il, fat, ugly, short, blah blah blah

its getting old. seriously Marbs - you sound like a good guy but this is getting obnoxious. Anyone starts a thread with an attempt at some real dialogue and you spam them. Its wrong. It's not like we don't know where you stand. And you don't even carefully state your opinion in a mature way - you are just trolling everywhere.

Its the same as the posters who blindly post "FIRE MDA NOW! HE'S SO DUMB" - there is no need for crap like this.

Sorry for coming off like an ass. I know you hate him and you are really pissed at him or at someone but WE KNOW. Why do you have to post it again and again if its not adding any new substance. Is it to intentionally bother or get under the skin of posters who don't agree with you?

You have said in some posts (when you were in a good mood) that Melo might do well somewhere else but him and MDA just don't mesh so someone has to go. And you think it should be Melo because you like MDA's system.

Thats fine. And I agree with you that this is just not gonna work and someone must go. I did not initially agree and was hoping that it can work - but its not. I personally think that MDA should go but I can see an argument for either.

I want Phil Jackson because if he can't win here then nobody can. And its not even that he is a better coach but nobody can question 10 rings so he walks in with big balls, the resume and the clout.

Looking forward to getting back to real dialogue

That's fair. You have good points and I see where you're coming from.

It's just a rough time to be a fan and I'm having trouble seeing where to go from here.

Melo is a pressing issue and I'm salty about the murder of Linsanity; I don't see a future for this team with Carmelo, just many more months and years of "give it time"; that's what it seems like anyway. It's hard to talk hoops. Love to talk hoops, but it's hard to talk hoops right now.

Jim Dumblan already did that once with the Melo trade. I doubt he'll be that stupid to do that again... oh wait, David Stern just shook his head at me..

I hear you man. Its sux to be a knick fan - and there has been so much reason for optimism over the past couple of years but for some reason or another it keeps crashing.

You have to see that Linsanity aside from Melo coming back which definitely hurt Linsanity, has many other issues such as these brutal traps that we need to learn to break. forcing Lin left, learning his passing lanes and his defense. Teams do adjust and we need to re-adjust. This is not all on Melo. The only way to prove this out is to bring back that lineup and sit the returners and see if they can duplicate. The schedule would have to be relatively similar. It has not been similar at all since the returners returned.

Point is, its very hard to quantify. I am not saying that it would not be better but you have to at least see the other issues. Its being written and discussed by all GM's, scouts and writers. There are many contributors.

Also, Kobe really did have a worse rep than Kobe and PJax worked with him. Now Melo ain't no Kobe but can PJax get the most or at least more out of him? I think he could but I have no idea and would love to see it.

MDA has won in PhX but to my point, so has westphal but that does not give him an open ended stay. That DOES NOT mean that I think it is all his fault. Its shared blame but the question is, whats the easiest fix. You can trade Melo and I could not care less - if we got back descent value. I don't think that is happening.

MDA's contract is up. They will not extend him if things continue. It's just not gonna happen. It's just the easiest and simplest solution to let him walk.

Kobe won with Phil while kobe had a bad rep but he had Shaq who at teh time was as dominant as dwight is now. I mean its not as sinmple as you make it seem. "Oh get rid of d'antoni and another coach will make this a championship team" That's crazy when the players on the floor dont fit at all

So is Kobe not that good? How about Kobe and Gasol? No Shaq.

So Melo does not have Shaq or Gasol and never did. And you expect a champion out of him?

I'm confused ...

LOL

That is so damn funny I almost sh1t my pants (NOT!)

You wouldn't take the bobcats for this roster? D'Antoni would have the Bobcats at .500, at least.

Detach yourself from my sack!

You don't know how to talk sports; probably the guy that would pull out a sports encyclopedia at a sports bar, or a Beckett trading card magazine. I don't know what your deal is, but you're not your usual happy-go-lucky self; you're ugly right now, ugly.

"No failure, only feedback"

Kobe for ever ... best in class. Kobe worth Melo $ Stoud together
He could let MDA appear best coach in history if playing with Knicks.

Kobe would suck on the Knicks. He would run MDA out of town after a week.

Can We Trade Whole Team At Once ?
