I can never root against the knicks. But if they get beat tonight and it costs D'Antoni his job, I don't think it'll be the worst thing in the world. I don't think they can play any worse than they have been or show such a lack of prgress as they have. Maybe a new coach would play to their strengths better and demand Defense.
I don't know that they'll get rid of D'Antoni at this point though or if that's the best play. This is just so damn frustrating.
A big problem we will have if D'Antoni leaves is that Amar'e becomes a BUM.
Guy's minutes are gonna drop off big time if he continues his laziness on D!
He's never played under anyone but D'Antoni, and MDA's System was forgiving to his defensive inadequacies.
