“I think anytime you go from the early part of the season, just having the ball and me just having the ball and being the distributor, and now just running the wings and waiting for the ball to come to me, that’s quite an adjustment for myself,” Anthony said.

Wasn't the story earlier in the season that Anthony was being asked to do too much by playing point forward?

I am so confused

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

That may have been what the media and/or fans said. Melo NEVER said that. He did say it was work in progress and something he had to learn.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Why waiting? There were a few plays in the early stages of the Boston game, were he had 3 consecutive cuts to the basket, Lin found him, he had (relatively) easy layups and I thought: Hurray! They got it! They know how to use Melo as a weapon within the system!

Well, never happened again since...

Yes, I remember that too. What did happen?

Melo needs to be off the ball making cuts and getting screens in the post. Lin will find him.

Ah! Those beautiful memories. I remember: Me, staring at the screen, so happy! I was wondering why they didnt did this all the time. Told my friends what a privilage it is for them to see the birth of the next NBA champ!

Even after that beautiful minutes, when they tryed to play to fancy and turned the ball over, I was still happy because I believed this is it. They now know what they do, they just need more repetitions!

The second half vs Boston and the last 2 games? Iso stand still ball! Hurray

Much easier to open your mouth and tell everyone what they want to hear than execute.

Exactly! Its hard moving around without the ball, trying to get free.

But - this is also on the coach, to sit Melo, walk over to him on the bench and ask him - 'you tired?, because you've stopped working out there. Keep TD & Walker company, and let me know when you're ready to work again'

i think melos wekness is his lack of quickness. like someone mentioned in the boston game when he moved without the ball lin found him a lot more easier but for some reason melo doesnt want to dot that all the time. Maybe its because he cant move that well i think melo needs to lose some weight it will make him quicker
