Everyone has been killing the Knicks for the lack of D last night. And rightfully so. But when they've been playing a certain way all year, funneling people to Chandler, ounting on Shump to play good perimeter D, etc, you can't kill them for falling a part a little on that end of the floor when their Defensive leader is out. Yes, they need to show effort and the body language out of everyone was disgusting. But The beigger problem to me is still the Offense. This is suposed to be the strength of our coach. And he can't bring them together. His system can work and he's shown it. But it's not going to work with this roster. If it was going to, we would've at least seen some consistancy at any point in the Melo era. Say all you want about time to gel. The gelling has to come with the leaders. Lin has no problem with this offense. And I don't think Melo and STAT would independently. But our 2 max contract guys can't play together in this system. The only chance this team has is handing the car keys to Lin and let him play like he was playing before and ahve the team feed off of that.

Otherwise, goodbye D'Antoni....hello Jax or Flip Saunders or someone.....

PJax or bust at this point. You have the pieces already, it's up to the coach. NO MORE EXCUSES!

You win in this league with defense. We have enough scorer's regardless of how sloppy it looks, win ball-games. How bad did the Heat look offensively last year, yet they stumbled their way to the finals on the strength of excellent defensive effort by the players and accountability by the coaches.
