The only chance this team has as presently constituted is for Lin to have free reign of the offense. He's shown that he can lead an offense, regardless of who they were playing during the 8-1 stretch. Others need to feed off of him. That's the only way Stat can be affective since he can't hit a jumper anymore. Melo needs to give him a chance to lead and MDA has to demand it. Nash was the first option in the Phoenix offense and because of that he drove defenses nuts and got everyone wide open looks.

Look at how Duncan deferred to Parker when he was still in his prime. Because of that they are a great team to this day. Mike needs to give the keys to the car to Lin. That's they only way this offense will work. And that might not even work since Amare is seemingly washed up. But it's the only chance we have.
