The refs are killing the game. I have come to this realization after many years of watching this. Every season there are more and more foul calls. Play stops for a free throw just about everytime possession is changed. Its hard to watch, sometimes I am starting to find myself just wanting to watch the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter because of this.

The game of basketball was not designed to be played like this. It is supposed to be fluid and pleasing to the eyes.

There are so much less foul calls in international play. Even though the quality of the players is not as high there, for some reason I always found myself sitting down and enjoying it. Now I know why.

Flopping, touch fouls, hand checking these ticky tack foul calls need to stop. I sometimes wonder how nba games would look with only two referees.

Flopping, blocking and charging are perfect examples of the refs ruining the game of basketball. In today's nba, when someone drives to the hole, a whole line of players run to the lane and stiffen up like bowling pins. The game of basketball is not supposed to be played this way. Its embarrassing.
