![]() I don't know if they're illegal as much as they're crafty.
He pulls it off in a way that it doesn't look intentional, like in the second video he makes it seem like it's a part of the hand-off motion. When I set picks in rec league, I set them like KG. Never get a call. It's smart play. Carmelo Anthony is ANTI-BASKETBALL

ITS COMING...so its time for MDA & Co. to wake up and think of a way that we don't get abused by one of his picks the next time. #Knickstaps

I think sending him to the ground would work against us. My choice would be to sell the contact more, so that if he sticks that leg out, you sell the contact there and go flying, it's really the only chance you have. That little leg thing he does is very hard to spot by an official because it looks like a normal part of the screen. Our guys have to sell it. Carmelo Anthony is ANTI-BASKETBALL

![]() KG's been in the league for 20 years doing this.
This amounts to complaining about how Pippen got away with walks on almost every drive to the basket. Entertainment rules are different than NCAA rules. |

![]() Great find on the clips. They are moving screens. This is CYO stuff. You set a screen, your feet has to be planted. Dude gets away with a lot of crap.

Go around you give them space to shoot, Fight thru it and you get called, flop in the 20 seconds and your not getting the call. Its a home game, and KG is a HOF player. Winning builds the cred. I was not sitting courtside to hear MDA or not talking to the ref. The hand off "Pick" looked good to me. KG executes these things very well. |

You can't call anything on the hand-off 'pick' because what can you call him for? That's his handing off motion! I mean we know that it's an exaggerated handing off motion, but you can't say that it's exaggerated, you can't make that call. Carmelo Anthony is ANTI-BASKETBALL

![]() Off the current topic a bit here, but compare the screens Amare sets vs KG and I think you'll get a get understanding on why the PnR is not working with him.

I was thinking the same thing but not just with Amare. The Knicks as a whole seem to be rolling before fully setting the pick. I am not sure if this is intentional or not or just a fake pick but it is very strange. As far as moving picks. Everyone in the NBA is doing them now and its not getting called. I don't think Amare is actually setting picks on purpose- they just seems like screens... In his case isn't it called slipping the screen, or a sped up screen and roll? ![]() I thought he was setting them last year... or was Amar'e part of Felton's problem? Because, yes, now it's like he's just moving to a spot on the court and avoiding contact

![]() In this play, KG set 3 picks. First pick: This is against Shumpert. KG commits 2 fouls on Shump. He moves his feet laterally then he gives a forearm to Shumps ear. Second Pick: Follows Shumpert and sets another moving pick but this time driving forward to deliver another forearm to Shumps face for the takedown. Third Pick: I actually thought this pick was legal. He handed off the ball to Pierce. |

![]() It's utterly embarrassing to not call the foul on that play. Every screen he sets he's moving into the player, pushing off, etc.
Someone really needs to put the bounty on this guy. He's dirty as they come. |

Kinda curious why we didn't foul Rondo, who shoots like 50% from the line... "If you ain't first, you're last" - Ricky Bobby

![]() Who says we foul him? Who says Rondo does not pass it to his back court mate Ray?
There are many scenarios to point. Say we do, then we are at the line. Go 1-1, now we up by 2. Bottom line, they had to hit a 3 to tie. Team is coming back nice and we had momentum. Celts getting old and we are deep. Whats to argue? Knicks lost. MDA haters can come out again. |

Even Nixluva on the game thread (D'Antoni's staunchest supporter) called him out as well: Nixluva - IMO none of this other crap matters. This team was up 3 with only seconds to play. You have to close that game out!!! You have to run the C's off the 3pt line!!! Dble everything out at the 3pt line and who cares if they hit a 2pt shot? Up 3 With time running down we have been hurt by the 3 ball and it's something this team has to do a better job defending. |
