That's the thing, he wouldn't have a field day in this 'offense' because this 'offense' doesn't exist with Melo on the team.

You have a case for D-Will in this offense when Melo was out, the offense that Lin ran for 9 games, but in THIS offense, right now? No, he wouldn't have a field day.

Real Talk.

Crazy game though.

I was arguing with my friend about where D Will ranks with Rose and Paul. I said Rose #1, Paul #2, and DWill #3, and that Rose is untouchable in the top spot but DWill can make a claim for #2 if he played on a winning team.

Playing on the Nets tarnishes your balls.

Damn, the Cats are bad.

Also glossed over is the fact that Brook Lopez rolled his ankle on the same broken foot.

He's had a real fall from grace, in my opinion- a few years ago I thought he was great- tough, hardworking, but the past couple of years he's gotten lazier, more selfish and his attitude is S***y. There's been a real drop off in his game the past year or two (though he is stuck on the nets)- I can't stand him now. I don't see why a player scoring 57 points in a single game means we have to have them on our team- don't want him at all, he'd end up being Marbury II.

I think there's a big risk of that happening. Even from watching the highlights of his 57 point game, it's clear to me that he doesn't know the difference between a good shot and a bad shot.

I want any player to be rostered the morning after he drops 57.

I want to trade any player that does not play well off the roster the morning after.

Kobe would be great here, now that he beat the Heat.

Any player that is the MVP of the finals against the Heat is an honorary Knick.

I hate compare anyone to Marbury but Deron is starting to remind me of Marbury from his Nets days.

Lin is practically a rookie and IMO if he looks this good at this point I want to see what he looks like when he's had more than 12 starts in this system!!! Deron is a vet and 100% confident in himself. Lin is in a tough spot having to deal with mega star players like Melo and STAT. It seems to take away from Lin's game at times.

I really hope that Lin gets back to playing aggressive and not deferring as much. It also could just be that he was unable to figure out how to attack the C's packed in D. The C's are smart. They play a stifling defense and take away what you want to do and then anticipate what you'll be left with. That's why they picked off Lin's passes and had him playing passively. Still I would prefer for Lin to actually use his talent to find a way to attack. Maybe pull up for more midrange jumpers rather than go all the way in.

Deron is a great talent and of course he'd do well here. I just don't think he's the same positive influence that Lin is. Lin's teammates LOVE HIM. I don't know that about Deron.

I agree d will is sort of a marburyish type..but I watched a few net games and believe you me..he get his teammates the ball quite often only to see them brick jumers and miss easy layups..I think a lot of it comes from losing and having to do all the work...

And despite what rep steph had, once mda got here he was ready to make a change he just never got a chance..

Star players become gunners when help is limited..look at kobe the yr aftr shaq left..he was shooting 40 shots a game and asking for a trade til they got gasol
