remember this kid is not a rookie, he's been in the nba now for 4 years and played very well the second part of his last season before he was hurt. He has scored 30+ points in a game with a few 20 pointers if i remember right+ he can rebound and block shots.

Penny hardaway has just played brutal and andersen isnt playing the way he has played when H2O went down the first time.

We have nothing to lose, the kid is nearly 6-10 and can play 2G. If he stays aggresive like he did last night, it could be a great benefit for the team.

Give him a 2-3 game 35 minute trial---what do we have to lose?????

Also, please play FW instead of moochie. i dont care if FW plays poor--they have killed his confidence--what looked promising could just turn into an ending contract trade next year.

Moochie Norris scks hes the worst PG in the nBA or very close to it. he is pure emegrency duty. FW needs the 8-10 minutes marbury doesnt play. heck id rather have penny play 8-10 minutes at point instead of norris

Why don't you just say Lenny! This guy has been coaching for umteen yrs and gets a free past for ineffective rotations and DNP's. I see why he is also the coach with the most loses in the NBA.

you know, DerMarr should get more minutes, same with Frank. Don't know what's up with the rotations either. The only person he is giving consitant minutes to is Penny, and he IS sucking.

Penny would still be my first sub off the bench. I would give Anderson's minutes to Demarr.

I have been saying the same thing about FW.

Weird to see how quickly things changed from bad to good, and then good to bad. sad but true, we're sucking real bad right now.

And you guys thought Chaney had bad rotations. Lenny is sticking with vets in the wrong way. Where is Lenny's confidence in youth ?

Zeke aint got jack to do with the remainder of the season.

Lenny, we're waiting

What the hell are you talking about? Sweetney is getting some consistant minutes early. Frank is officially marbury's backup. I think Lenny is doing a great job.
What exactly r we waiting for?

I can't believe this ****. Whats with all of the Penny bashing lately? Penny helped us beat Detroit and Indiana. Yes, his jumper is inconsistent at times, but he does everything else well. He actually PLAYS DEFENSE which is what a bunch of guys on our team don't do. Even against the Suns, he got off to a slow start but he started to heat up and with his 3's, it looked like we were going to make a comeback. He's been struggling a bit, but he has helped this team a lot more than he has hurt it.

Yup , that is what Chaney was judged by win and losses.

Hey--- back to the topic--- What the heck does DerMarr Johnson do for us? He doesn't do anything for us on offense. I haven't looked at his stats, but when was the last time he hit a jump shot?

Ah, I guess he had a pretty decent game against Phoenix.

He's not Shandon Anderson. That's good enough.

Shandon at least has his flashes of brilliance (the occassional breakaway dunk, a steal, a deflection leading to a fast break, etc). DerMarr better have a lot of intangible qualities on the court, cuz he's certainly not showing much statistically.

"Flashes of brilliance?" Sadly, his flashes rarely result in baskets. He is a SG who can't shoot. That is always a problem, but on a team that his lacked outside shooting since the KVH trade, the results have been unacceptable.

Flashes, like throwing the ball into the 3rd row of seats, fouling a player behind the 3 pt line with 1 second on the clock--Anderson is terrible! I would love to see a stat with +/- pts of the knicks with Anderson on the floor and when he's sitting. Unfort. it doesn't look like Demarr is the answer either- I don't see anything that this guy does on offense , way too passive. Maybe with more practice he can bring it to a game.
Briggs-- Frank is 2 yrs away from being 2 years away

The whole point is that DerMarr's flashes of brilliance include those breathtaking drives to the basket on fast breaks that he can't seem to finish! At this point, while I agree that Shandon stinks, I can't see how DerMarr is better than him in any way, offensively or defensively...

The only reason I want to like him is that potential--- but potential is a funny word when it comes to NBA players. TT should be at least a top-10 player now, and KVH should've been the next Bird, and Sweetney should be putting up 20-10 numbers like Brand.

Here's something for the old Knick faithful--- Greg Butler was supposed to hit the most amazing shots in practice regularly. Unfortunately, in real games he was the absolute biggest stiff, err, fan favorite.
