I turned it off. So damn boring. Why did Lin even bother to show up and be part of this in the first place anyway? He should have just gone to Disney World with his family and spend the day there instead.

The All Star game is doing more to harm the reputation of the game than build it. Players, as in the NFL game, just go through the motions and cheapen the hard work it takes to get there. No one defends. No one. As a result you may as well run five on none.

me personally, i love the nba all star game more than any other. it is entertainment and i am one of those people who not only likes watching their team representative do damage ( go melo!) but tak interests in seeing the young blood that i havent seen all year doing work. i dvr it and watch it for about a week if it has interesting plays, which they will. i will get my defense in april and may.

That's exactly why it's boring to watch. Players just runs back and forth and make their shot and by the time the game is over, the score is 134 to 142
Somebody gets granted MVP without so much as breaking a sweat and the MVP usually goes to the hometown player that the AS is being hosted at.
