First of all this isn't about our fans because most fans agree that lin just had an off game against a great team. But listening on the radio and reading the newspaper you would think that lin has been struggling all season. i mean the guy has been playing an all-star level and he has one bad game against the best team and the media are now calling him a bust. I mean didn't he kill the lakers and dallas which are both goo teams. I mean yes lin had a horrible game but our whole team did. the heat were very well rested and we weren't. next time i have a feeling it will be a different story

People love to see the underdog rise and they love to see the stars fall. The best thing Jeremy can do is not listen to what the media and fans have to say because for the most part, it's not that important. He needs to learn from his teammates, himself, opponents and coaches.

He'll be fine and I bet he'll be better the next time they play the Heat. I wouldn't even call last nights game a bad game by him. He got hit by a tractor trailor going at 100 MPH while being chained to the road. Not much he can do about that.

Ya i agree i just think its funny because people dont mention the fact that the heat were on full rest, melo still isn't healthy yet, and we were playing a back to back. I guarantee next time it will be different

Steve Kerr isn't going to play Lin as much as he plays Rubio. I, for one, am glad. Lin needs his rest. I hope he doesn't log in more than 15 minute.

TEAM SHAQ!!!! Will be fun to see at least one highlight of Lin lob pass to Griffin.

Stephen A. Smith is a hypocrite. A week ago, he wrote a piece about how Melo have to adjust his game to fit in with Jeremy Lin, now, he's saying that people were stupid to even consider the possibility of Melo adjusting his game to fit in with Lin just because Knicks lost to the Heat yesterday.

If Knicks had won and Lin played another great game, Stephen A.Smith would be singing a different tune. He's a gimp.

The media are made of insatiable gossip whores..what part of this is hard to beleive
Lin is smart enough to know that the media will be annointing him for president next time she plays the Miami Sheeit and beats them.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

There is a reason why a few pro athletes are suspicious of the press. Their number one job is to sell papers.

Jeremy Lin is only the story so long as he sells papers. When he stops selling papers, and product, he is trash.

The fact Jeremy can measure his words (especially with the panic-driven Carmelo Anthony controversy) will help him navigate the chaos that is unique to New York.

This video right here exposes (again) Stephen A. Smith as nothing but a media hack. A hack with a big mouth. Look at his smug attitude when Melo is talking.

Stephen A. is a funny guy. You ever put him on in the car? Guy is OUT OF HIS MIND; hilarious.
Carmelo Anthony is ANTI-BASKETBALL

He's hilarious, I'll give him that but he's also a hypocrite who flip flop on his position. He's the kind of guy who just wants to be RIGHT all the time and he'll stand by anyone that proves him right.

He'll stand by LIN all the way into the off-season if Lin keeps beating above .500 teams. But after losing against Heat, Smith changes his position. From now on, he's not allow to praise Lin.

Build em up tear em down! Steven A. is part of the reason we gave up so much for Melo. He was leading the parade of you have to give Denver whatever they want if u want a player the calibur of Melo

Teams tend to come back stronger from things like this. One player faces a ton of scrutiny after a bad game. The team unites around him and they start to really develop chemistry.

I expect the Knicks to look like a different team after the break. This team has all the pieces. They have all the talent. All they have to do now is put it together.

+1 I'm actually relieved in a way. Better to just have a crap game and have people treat you like a human. It is real hard to be a front runner from day 1 in a game like basketball. You don't have to be a #1 seed to win a championship or go far in the playoffs.

Kudos to Melo for backing up his teammate (Lin) when Stephen A. Smith starts spouting his B.S right in front of him and Skip Bayless.

I think this whole Lin story has been blown so out of proportion, its just silly any way you see it. Its like things are so boring in the NBA that the first surprise of the season has to be beat to death by every outlet.

Lin is an amazing story and Im so happy that it happened to us, but can we give the guy and the team a break? When talking about hipocrites, no media mentions the lack of practices, of chemistry and of experience when throwing Lin and the team under the bus.

I actually thonk we have overahieved lately, so much that we have spoiled everyone. And Im not saying we aren't this good, but that its important to practice and get our game right so we play the best way we can.

Agreed from the Knicks perspective. This year We have new players that we are trying to incorporate on the fly similar to the 99 team (Spree and Camby). We have the talent just need practice and more time to gel. However, this years Miami team is far more talented than the overachieving bunch that Riles had in 99.

Do you really think media actually influenced the price we paid?
