MAN UP! put his uniform on and hobble in to the court. just like Willis Reed did 100 years ago. we desperately need him.

I'll wait. I'd rather have him healthy than hobbling.

As long as we're still in a playoff spot...
Frankly.. although we have played pretty poorly the last 3 games..
We really don't NEED Houston to make it to the playoffs...
Not with our easy schedule...
If bringing him back early is the difference between a 7, 6. or 5 seed.. I'd take any one of those seeds with a Healthy Houston.. than a 5 with a hobbled one.
Last night we got killed cause we were without Houston and Tim.
We should be good the rest of the way.

if he was 28 i could see him doing that but the man is 33! he played hurt before when he was younger. so if he is out for this long, his knees MUST be in pain.if we put him out there hurt he will be a larger liability offensively and defensively. you think in the next game he could keep up with the red hot cory maggette? he will get eaten up. or do you think he has enough lift on his jumpshot to be accurate? no. and i know what will happen. everyone will continue feedin houston the ball becuase he is one of our best offensive weapon and they will figure he will heat up. then he starts making cities with the amount of bricks becuase he can not get into rhythm. i know these two weeks have been difficult but we have to be patient. allan will be back. the good news is that the other playoff teams below us are losing too except cleveland which does worry me.

I think Miami and Cleveland are going to make the playoffs and Toronto out.

I would sit Houston all through March since it's an easy month. Then bring him back in April when we'll be on the road versus some tough teams. By the time the playoffs come around in late april the Knicks should be jelling.

Completely in agreement here Guns...
I would also make iot a priority to sign Vin Baker.
I heard Miami and the Pistons are pursuing him as well.
Why Detroit would even bother seems to me as a tactic to keep him away from us in case we meet in the playoffs...
We should sign him to the veteran minimum for the rest of the season.
Chump change compared to our budget.
If nothing else.. to keep him out of Detroit and Miami's hands..
Detroit our possible first round matchup and Miami a competitor for one for the 7th and 8th seeds.

I'm with you on this. If we don't really need him, why taking the risk to break him for good ?

We won't be able to trade him, so we for sure should try to preserve him the most possible.

yes please get baker. I will feel much better about this team. Baker is not lightning quick but i believe he would be our fastest PF.

Get serious this isn't the 7th game of the finals. We need him healthy if we are going to do anything in the playoffs.

I not saying that he should go full throttle.10 or 20 min. wont hurt. I just think that him being the captain and playing hurt would motivate the rest of the team. plus it will take some pressure off marbury...

Did you see how bad Allan's shot was when he came back last time he came back before he was ready? Just let him work out with the team, take care of his knee and don't rush him. We're almost better without Houston if he's not his typical self.

I think the Hawks released Dion Glover yesterday. He might be an option if we really need an SG and if Houston will be out for another 10 games or so...

Stop the madness VD. don't you think we have enough scrubs on this squad?
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Why would we sign someone who just got waived when we got Hardaway?

Besides just playing 10-15 min. he needs to warm up, any medical dr. would tell you your suggestion is not in the best interest of the patient. He needs to shut it down until he experiences marked improvement. There is no reason to risk long term serious problems.

Dion Glover asked to be released from ATL, they would have kept him. He wanted to go and help a playoff team that's why he asked for his release. Maybe Toronto Raptors wants his services. He didn't want to be apart of ATL re-building plan he said.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
