After all the turmoil, changing rosters and crap we've dealt with I can finally say we have a team fellas. We went from having a super thin bench to start the year to a deep team in what feels like overnight.

Lin
Fields
Melo
STAT
Chandler

JR Smith
Shump
B Diddy
JJ
Discount Novacheck

Walker
Jordan
TD
Harrelson
Bibby

There is still work to be done but can't wait to see what this team is capable of doing after those all star break practices. I know there are a lot of you who hated the Melo trade but after all has been said and done this team is stacked.

GO KNICKS!!

Just as important as the on court chemistry this team seems to have built a sense of camaraderie we haven't seen in a while. Just look at the bench when the Knicks go on a run. They've gone on runs before of course, but the bench looks much more energized. Haven't seen that in a long time.

It goes without saying that Lin played a big part in that but the new faces and the emergence of other bench players like Novak I believe is also a factor. When Jorts comes back the Knicks will have even more firepower. Hope its sooner rather than later.

I'm worried about fitting Shump back into this rotation. we almost have too much depth.

We are going to need Shumpert's defense badly in the playoffs. His minutes might be reduced because of Davis being in the rotation now, but he's going to be indispensable in the playoffs if the Knicks want to make a serious run.

I know that. I'm just wondering where he gets his minutes from.

My guess is from Fields if he stays at SG when they need a lockdown defender to stop the better SGs and when their PG is doing too much damage. Defensive specialist off the bench right now because his offense is still evolving.

Scary thing we have a lot of room to improve. Melo, Stat, Davis are all shaking off rust. Team has played a total of two games with eacthother, they have to get better.
