Yeah, Fields doesn't have the speed and quickness to defend Wade or Lebron.
They all looked like they gave great effort, playing good team defense yesterday, although it was vs a horrible injured Hawks team.
Double teaming, playing zone, and daring players to hit the wide open shot.'
Melo looks like he can be a solid defender and Amare, looks like he is picking up on his foot speed, but Amare still has to be more consistent.
JR Smith is currently our best G/F defender, and will be used to defend Wade.
Miami always looks to push and run, doing it very effectively, with Wade and Lebron sprinting down fast, before defenses can set.
They have mastered to fast break together, with Lebron usually near half court, and Wade running all the way down.
It is really tough to defend, because they both finish so well, and can easily penetrate themselves, or hit a 12 footer.
This is where I really would love to add a player like Ariza or Ak47 to compliment TC at the PF.
It looks as if Amare is the one that is the odd man out, as the weak link.
Think a 3rd team would be needed, but Ariza + Kaman, for Amare and 1 filler.
While Amare started back this franchise, has tried his best to sacrifice his own shots, and personal stats to improve the team, trading him would probably be in the best interest.
When it comes down to it, we are a much better defensive team with JJ at the 4.
If we want better offense, we insert Novak at the 4 to spread the floor, and it just makes everyone's job easier.
Having JR Smith on one side and Novak on the corner gives us legit shooters to spread the floor.
It will be great to if Jorts comes back, hoping his wrist injury doesn't hurt his ability to shoot.
