I like your handle -- I've mentioned before that I LOVE Starks (have his book AND have read it). So many think that Lin has been good, but that his numbers "will come back down to earth". I actually think that he'll more or less keep his numbers, and he'll get better and better. |

I think at least half of the turnovers are because of fatigue because some of his passes later on don't seem to have the zip on them like 1st quarter passes, and that will fix itself. In the Mavericks game for instance, his turnovers came in the second half. They keep him in their for 50 minutes a game and he's hitting a wall. Facts are this kid hasn't played this many minutes night after night since college years ago. It's barely been a couple weeks since he began starting, and it’s going to take some time for him to get his legs and body in shape to play 50 minutes night. The other problem is half the time his teammates don't seem ready for the crazy passes. Again, its only been a short time, so as the season goes on and players are more used to the way he plays, the turnovers will down, and the chemistry and teamsmanship goes up. Things are only going to get better, not worried. |
