Amare finally showed up at end of todays National televised game vs Champions Mavericks
Of course Amare seem dis-interested the other evening course vs. N.O. Hornets and Trevor Ariza
whom 'toasted' Knicks front line.

Amare at times appears to be going 20-25 mph in a 40MPH zone

Can't blame foul issues recently since Amare isn't fouling much cause defending lacks.

However until then seems like Amare' going to LIN-School 101 on:

1) How to catch a Lin pass
2) How to move your feet on offense to get passes from other teammates
3) How to move your feet on defense
4) How to listen to Jeremy Lin instructions on "keep moving" keep moving, MOVE IT!
Amare looks like Statue of Liberty out there and moves like a slower truck on 3 wheels at times
5) The offensive rebounds Amare gets can be increased if he actually moves & plays harder.

All in all Amare is a Pro. I like him but worried about this guy. He's moving like the Tin Man Wizard of Oz!

Seems lost at spots on the floor for cuts and few other things. However he came through at the end
Thus Stoudemire is trying learn fast the Lin's class! Good thing Knicks gonna need his force

I say we reduce Amare's minutes. Let him get most of it with the bench unit.

28 minutes per game.

Jeffries' defense = Amare's offense
Jeffries' offense > Amare's defense

if we can get amare back from last year we are unstoppable. I dont think its his back because he was starting to get his legs back then his brother passed away and he is back to where he was in the beginning of the season. I mean last year his jumper was lethal and now its gone

Amare was working very hard on the boards today. Every shot that went up you see him fighting for position trying to get the offensive board or tip the ball back out.

Amare just needs to get his legs under him and his confidence back. Regardless he is still an impact player that you have to account for.

Amar'e will be good once that jumper comes back look out. Also, once he gets a feel with Lin the PnR will be better than Chandler in my opinion because his catch radius is greater. However he does have to get better on Defense and get his rebounds up.

I'd still trade him for Howard right now. The Knicks better propose that Amare/Chandler package at the deadline.

if Amare looks this bad this year, just imagine two years from now...

That is to much turnover and I think the locker room has bonded with Chandler. Plus Amar'e will get back to form. However he needs to talk to Kobe about the procedure he had in the offseason.

turnover schmurnover

Howard and scrubs alone is an elite team and elite defense.
Add in Lin, JR and Melo and that team is a dynasty.

Just looked at his game log. This month he's averaging 21 and 9 on 51% FG. Of course, he's giving up approximately those #s too.

Well, we may get our wish to see Amare in the PNR more, with Chandler all sorts of banged up now.

Still, you can't argue that favoring the PNR with Chandler and his gaudy 70%FG is a bad move. If you could score 70% of the time (even with Chandler's 71% FT%)... I think you take it. Chandler's drawing fouls at a pretty high rate, more effectively than Amare.
