Don't give me your BS about him having to do it against good teams, or your BS about TO (it will go down), etc. He has the best numbers in the league, and the scary thing is is that he is actually BETTER than his numbers. He'll find a way to win you games. All you haters are the same type as the idiots that passed over him in the draft and kept sending him to the D league. There seem to be a bunch a yo fools out there, and I'm sick and tired of you talking this dude down. If you don't want to cheer the Knicks and Lin, go watch figure skating.

Because I'm sure Jeremy Lin is better than Chris Paul.

If he keeps this pace. 26 and 9.5. And a .888 winning percentage

Short sample size and way too premature but if Nash won two MVPs why can't Lin be best PG

He's been counted out all his life, they're counting him out again. Hall of Fame, multiple MVP, multiple championships.

This guy is special, he could be the best point guard to ever play.

Jeremy is a solid addition to the team, and we hope that he continues to grow in his role. There are still thing to learn, and Jeremy himself is the first to acknowledge this. We ALL cheer for the Knicks here, in our own way. This is after all, the ULTIMATEKNICKS board.

YO! GUYS JUST DON'T HAVE THESE NUMBERS.

This is ridiculous basket dropping, dime dishing. Lin is an amazing player. Average players just don't do this. Kobe does this. Nash might do it once in a while. LeBron does this.

You don't just WALK INTO THE LEAGUE AND DROP SOMETHING LIKE 25/8 AND WIN 8 OUT OF 9 GAMES! CRUSH THE LAKERS! THE MAVS!

"Solid addition" is how I would describe JR Smith and his numbers today. Not the 46 min, 28pts and 14 assists. If Lin is a solid addition, MJ was a solid shooting guard.

Yea it's still too early to make any calls. But he is leading the league in scoring since the day he started. How many players get to say that? Lin is not a sensation becuase of his stats alone, he is dealing with the pressure of NY Expectations and with the media hounding him and even his family in Taiwan. Yes I get it that Rubio is probably a better passer, CP3 better at breaking things down, Rondo is quicker and so on but the role of PG is not defined only by assists and TOs the main job of a PG is to make his teammates better. NO ONE can even scrtach the surface of what Lin has done in that category against all the odds that were stacked against him. From 8-15 to .500 in 9 games, Landry Fields has become a useful player again, Shumpert is driving to the hoop and playing insane defense, Jeffries is makin Jumpers, Tyson just looks like the Monster of the NBA, Novak has become a 3 point machine, heck even Billy Walker was driving to the hoop and drawing fouls. Lin didn't individually make this happen but he made us win and winning brings confidence. You can alreay make a case for LIN as MVP - few people have ever had this type of impact on a team in the history of the NBA in so few games.

SMH this is why people hate knick fans. Lin is solid. He is a good basketball player but he is not the best PG in the league. He has a long way to go. Can he do it? I don't see why not. He is only 23 and still has the best basketball of his life in front of him.

well right now he is playing like the best player in the league. yes his turnovers are big but he is 8-1 when this team was dead

As far as the stats go, you have to factor in the minutes Lin has played this season as a starter. He's averaging 38. That's a lot to say the least. I understand the rationale for this, we're shorthanded, and Davis should help in that department. When Duhon was starter he was leading the league in minutes (or damned close) and near the top in assists, so his minutes inflated his stats.

No, I'm not comparing the two as far as skill set, just a reminder that when his minutes go down I doubt that he is going to be putting up amazing numbers like this, especially with Melo coming back and more offense recently added to the mix in Smith. I still expect some good numbers assist wise.

I was hoping to see him today. Maybe against NJ which is the weaker opponenet he can get some burn.
