He's expected to make his debut on national television Sunday versus the Mavericks.

Who was the guy that swore Balkman warranted 20 minutes per game this year after watching him drop 10 points in preseason?

I don't really think Davis is coming back if they let go of Balkman over Bibby.

I think Bibby is a better team guy where Balkman just sort of loafs around whilst high on dope.

Plus, Bibby, while decrepit, weak, and ugly, can get hot for something like 5 or 6 trey buckets every 20 games.

Guy hit 150 treys last year, and he did it from a wheelchair.

Bibby kept in case Lin gets hurt. Or Davis.

Balk worthless.

that sht cray

I knew the Chandler addition was the right move despite all the naysayers that chirped in to laugh at our rough start.

Lin was a miracle. JR and Chandler show why the Knicks won the Melo trade. Superstars attract good role players. Not vice-versa.

I seen a lot of Davis here in bay area and when he moved to Clips the guy is always an injury to happen. This back thing of his must be serious if they are cutting Balkman over Bibby.

Balkman defends multiple positions. Bibby is worthless. I'd honestly rather have Balkman.

And I'm saying right here. The Nuggets as currently constructed won't ever get out of the first round. They will stay in mediocrity for years. Don't be fooled by how well they played at the start of the season, as the condensed schedule favors deep teams, which is why PHI, IND, and DEN came out of the gates superhot.

If we mesh, this team can put up a fight in the ECF. The goal right now though is to get the fck above the 7th and 8th seeds and then anything can happen.

Nuggies best player is out injured!

Anyway, yea, Knicks can go far, better believe it.

I pray Melo comes correct.

Never say never, Knicks played well without Amare/Melo and they played well as a team.

Balkman would not see one meaningful minute the rest of the year. Bibby may not be too god, but he does serve a purpose on the bench.

Balkman is next to useless on this team. Unfortunately for Balk, we need players that are well rounded and if we already have forwards that can defend and score, then he's really not useful. Bibby is insurance and there's always a chance Bibby gets hot and starts hitting 3's. Sorry to see anyone go, but it's the business.

Well, I wouldn't say that Bibby is still safe. I think I would rather have a guy like that other Jeremy in the D-league who is also a penetrator, so when Lin goes to the bench the style doesn't change as much.

Bibby does add some stability but so did our old PG who in now on Orlando, can't say his name without feeling sharp pain go through my body. His name rhymed with Doo Doo.

I really liked Balkman and thought he would be ok for spot minutes or as a defensive substitution. The coach obviously didn't like him though, so even with the extra year of salary, I guess it was a calculated risk.

I think Smith will see some of Fields' minutes. Walker may fall out of the rotation.

I can't believe Bibby's corpse is still out there masquerading itself as an NBA player..

The way I see it, right now Walker would be the 10th man, meaning he'd likely not be in the regular rotation, seeing regular minutes. Then once Harrelson comes back, it could come down to Walker vs. Novak for that 10th spot.

D'Antoni will have his work cut out for him in dividing the minutes and keeping guys fresh as well as making sure everyone stays ready.

But I'd rather have "too much" depth than not enough depth, especially in a crazy condensed season like this.

I can't believe the way you just insulted corpses. Didn't you watch "Weekend at Bernies"?
