I agree, Those dunks were great and to me it was the pinnacle of the dunk contest. Has not topped it except for gimmick dunks.
The Kia thing was cool. |

I don't like the idea of drunk contests. They set a bad example for the kids. I hope there will at least be a designated driver.

A buddy of mine brought up a good idea that they should bring in some And1 guys or amateurs to dunk against pros in hopes that they show them up.
Or maybe have the NBA donate 1mm or so to a charity attached to each participant, so certain players would enjoy the good press and feel more pressured to join the competition each yr. Agree w/ Marbury - gimmick dunks suck (Ceballos, Nate, DHoward, etc... were terrible)

the judges she be former Slam Dunk champions, not guys like Kenny Smith who was in the contest but, really shouldn't have been. Dunkers should judge dunks but, not diva's like Jordan or Doc who acted so jaded with his scoring I couldn't stand it.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
