I know douglas is playing really really bad! but bibby is just painful to watch! His only asset is not going in. He is not a point guard anymore as all he does is play off the ball. He sucks so bad on D

TD might be better shooting the ball but TD does not play the PG position the right way. Bibby tries and you see that he shoots or misses in the flow of the game. TD would be taking ill-advised shots and taking the team out of the flow.

(Damn, because of this fool I got to type summthing long when I agree with the thread starter)

I totally agree, TD at the very least can help get his confidence back by coming in a playing hard defensively for 15 minutes. The full court trapping is really a good way to get going in the fast break.

I'm sorry but TD looked like garbage in garbage time last night. They tried playing him at the 2 at first and then the 1 and I'm still not sure after 3 years how it isn't apparent that he is just not a good basketball player. You could see how hard the bench wanted him to put the ball in the bucket and he was forcing shot after shot, which didn't bother me because it was obvious he was in there to try and get some confidence back.

What did bother me was all the same BS - picking the ball up too early and getting trapped, making awful passes, playing his man too high at half court, etc... The guy just doesn't get it and it is unfortunate bc most Knicks fans like him and want him to succeed.

If there is an injury at the PG position, God forbid, and MDA is forced to throw one of the two in for some short minutes, I'm picking Bibby all day over TD. Neither can hit anything, so I'm basing it off who hurts the team less when they're on the floor.

MDA has to stop running Bibby out there...As bad as TD has been, there is hope and who knows, down the road he can regain his confidence...Bibby is done, period...

This is true. TD does not know when to shoot or when to pass. He is always indecisive and gets trapped. Bibby's shot just isnt falling because his legs are shot

If they really want TD to get back into gear then they need to play him with Lin. Just have him camp in the corners and cut to the basket similar to what Walker and Novak is doing. Something simple to get his confidence up. BUT...never put him at PG again.

Bibby shoots in the flow of the game... BUT he doesn't advance the ball or put any pressure on the defense. TD is a disaster right now. He was pretty effective statistically as a starter last year, so something does not seem right.

Guillotine > Electric Chair

Both will get you killed. If either is called on to play important minutes, Toney Douglas and Mike Bibby will get us killed.

Renaldo Balkman > Travis Knight

Slavko Vranes < Jerome Jordan

Team

Best part? Eleven days ago the Knicks sucked. The mutiny was on. Now, we don't suck that bad.

“It’s unbelievable right now,” Lin said of the Knicks’ turnaround. “The camaraderie on this team is just ridiculous. It’s just such a joy to be around them every day.”

Bibby was actually trying last night. He tried to push the ball an 1 occasion but he is just not able to execute anymore. He is trying to make the right basketball decision. TD would walk the ball up then stop at the 3 pt line and jack it up.
