TV ratings and Ticket sales improve. MSG making money off this kid!

5 game win streak with 3 wins coming from respectable teams with our role players.

He makes everyone around him better. The coach is a genius again, Fields is playing with a renewed confidence and swagger at a level even higher and Chandler is taking jump shots! Shump is playing his natural position with better looks. TD is sitting and healing. JJ is the glue!

IF this team sniffs the top 4 seeds in the east with a torrid pace since he was inserted how can we deny his presence as an MVP?

This is the same reason as how Nash won back to back, but this kid has a much simpler argument. What was the teams record before and after!

No doubt there is a lot of work to do. Funny thing is this week long resurrection takes place without our three most talented players. So its clear what he brings to the table.

Long way to go until the season is over and if this team will still come together. Great teams are not one man shows so it should be pretty evident to all what needs to be done.

They do it to help heal the hurting heart of Amare. They do it for Hazel Jr. (Big Stat!).

MVP? IT would be nice, but even better would be what Lin bought to the table to earn that accolade!

Nalod can dream.

What's significant to me in these last games is that he's making defenses adjust to stopping him. When was the last time we had a point guard who did that?

I have no love for MVP awards and/or all star appearances they mean little to me. I want amare back and quickly tuned into the offense then I want to see this kid integrate Melo into HIS offense. - Yes that's right I said that and that's the only way this can work. This will be Melo and STAT's team on tabloids and ESPN but the real leadership comes from Tyson and the kid should have the keys to the offense. Melo has to adjust to the flow of the offense the offense doesn't have to adjust to Melo. Lin will decide when Melo gets the ball or "IF". That's a lot to ask for a guy with 4 games experience as a starter and this will be the dynamic that defines the rest of our season. I have no rose tinted view of this, this will take work, commitment and sacrifice, I have a lot hope that Tyson and STAT can prove to be the ones that guide Melo through this, but I also believe Melo will buy into this because he has shown signs that he wants to. I have high hopes but I don't go on a emotional rollercoaster, I am grounded in reality and reality is this may not work. But whether it does or doesn't I am grateful to Lin for turning this thing around and for showing that MDA's system really can work when he hase the right personnel. And no one can succeed in basketball without a starting backcourt.

What he is doing isn't magic, it looks that way because we have learned to set our expectations withToney Douglas playing the point. Lin's greatness is that he may finally make some people who wanted to blame this on the coach from day one, finally get the point (pun intended). But I won't be holding my breath on that one either. IIWII.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

I loved Felton and really liked duhon for a short stretch in this system but this dude is blowing them out of the water. His points will ikely drop off especially with melo/stat coming back but his assists could go up. Talk about a miracle...

We all knew we needed a PG and Lin has changed the complexion of the makeup of this team...He may well the team MVP if not league MVP...Man oh man if this group mesh, it's gonna be a great sight to see...

Duhan was a bandaid. Felton was very good, but not like what this kid can do.

Lin can singlehandedly make the Melo trade valid.

The Golden Child makes all those around him better.

Given that Chandler>Chauns regarding the huge hole was needed to cover Amare and move him back to the 4 the loss of Felton/Billups now filled by Lin completes the team.

Dolan should count his lucky stars. He needs to resign MDA and put a block on any incoming calls from Isiah.

Time to move on.

Ok to give Isiah some tickets to the finals!

If not for the Gallo trade, followed by the Billups amnesty, Lin would never be here. Time to give Grunwald some props for picking him up...

Why can't we just enjoy a good thing instead of talking up MVP awards after 5 games? Please just enjoy it and stop the unreasonable expectations..

You can enjoy it.

The man has scored more points in his first five starts than any player in 36 years. Thats when the NBA and ABA merged.

As a point of conversation, its valid.

I validated it.

it's always weird for me to hear Garden crowd chant M-V-P when Jeremy at FT line instead of Jer-Eh-Me.
