jesus, that's horrible. embarassing for ny. ugh.

i was excited when we picked him up, i think mainly due to briggs and that john wall game he had in summer league.

but i honestly never even thought he'd crack the rotation this year. i just liked the idea of having a project pg stashed on our bench.

well, that worked out.

I liked the Lin pickup. Obviously, I did not think he would be this good, but I suspe Ted he would be better than Douglas and Shumpert at the point guard spot.

Do not judge the group of ppl"Knicks fans" by what some individuals do. Unfortunately it happens all the time, there are always stupid, ignorant people with no opinion other than what they were told to believe. Fortunately, there are more Knicks fans that weren't so racist. Most just have never heard of Lin. As soon as we picked him up I remembered the BRIGGS post from his draft year. Anyone could have guessed that we would play better with a PG,myself included. I' be posted before in response to an article about him, saying how its year of the dragon, which happens to be his year also.

I see Jeremy as an American. He was born and raised in Cali. Yeah he's of Asian decent but I'm of black and Hispanic decent....what's it to ya? Its a shame how people still feel that dumb **** is exceptable to say even in a internet forum. Sad....

ON the contrary, on this forum, some were outright begging for Lin to be signed. The only reason I knew of Lin is because of this Forum.

UK by design and the reason why Martin will exile the ill mannered is we get to keep immaturity out of the conversation.

One can place some decent humor or satire is acceptable if crafty and well done but those comments are just plain stupid or not funny.

But this is AmeArica and thats what we do. A country filled with Dumbass's is part of who we are!

Watched the game last nite and seemingly the Chinease American community in Minny has put a dent in the oaktag inventory in the area with signs of pride and support over their new found role model.

This is not Jackie Robinson territory but this kid has heard it all being the best player at many levels. Funny thing he is as american as anyone and I doubt anyone with an Ivy League degree in Economics is cracking funny remarks about laundry or food delivery. Kid born in California and I don't think even all he media gets it right.

Reading that facebook page, it's kind of depressing and disgusting that people feel no shame in posting such pathetic and racist comments, but you never know, maybe this recent bout of Linsanity will lead them to re-evaluate their beliefs. Though I doubt it- racist people seem to have no problem rooting for the very people they despise, which I always find bizarre!

Glad these boards keep that kind of crap off them- though I will say they can be a bit sexist sometimes.

Mike Breen doesn't even get it right when he calls the game. Constantly saying, "a player out of Asia". I guess Kobe and Lebron are the best out of Africa then.
