Patience

Anyone who has played sports knows that a groin strain is nothing to play with. If the Knicks, and Carmelo, are wise, they will hold back until AFTER the all star break. Sure, the reporters will offer artificial projected dates of return but understand this boys and girls - think of a groin strain or pull in the same manner that you consider a hamstring pull. A type 1, 2 or 3 strain can easily degenerate if not managed properly.

Between the rest, stretching, ice and heat, (go easy on the anti-inflammatory drugs) you don't want to rush that bad boy.

Carmelo Anthony Target Date: Wednesday 29 Feb vs Cleveland at home.

He should take as much time as he needs to make sure he is 100%.

If this is two or three months, I'll just have to live with it.
